I did give this a good go on the 5, but I couldn't get into it. I loved the visuals, the plot, and the creepy humanoid robots, but I didn't enjoy the gameplay much. Kept finding myself wishing I had bigger guns and more ammunition. Got to the big roller ball boss and no further.
It's one I might go back to eventually.
Been looking forward to this but the backlog had me holding back. It's only around £20 now physically and this video pushed me over the edge. It's at 60 too!👌 I do see some graphical cutbacks to get it to 60 compared with videos of the PC version at Ultra I've seen, but it's understandable. I gladly choose performance over "bells and whistles" any day.
ОтветитьHmm might pick this up. Recently got a fresh new 2tb ssd.. so I def have the room!
ОтветитьYou're paying for a game subscription, so not really free.
ОтветитьThis game haha soooo much drama around it. You sum it up perfectly. 🤌 chefs kiss my friend!
ОтветитьDo you have any thoughts about the potential Ps5 Pro announcement? Anything you hoping for or deal breakers?
ОтветитьGave my money to S.T.A.L.K.E.R Trilogy (console port) devs instead :)
ОтветитьNah, russian crap of a game, that's unsub.
ОтветитьI found AH equally eye opening lay beautiful and frustrating. I chanced upon the end section and probably missed 50% of the actual game.
ОтветитьGood review, as always Coop.
Another on my back catalogue that hasn't yet been booted up. I forgot it was on GP and grabbed it on sale on steam a while back. 😂
Great looking world and aesthetics.
Keen to check it out if it comes to PSN extra.
I liked it but I thought switching between guns and powers wasn’t as seamless as it could have been. The English vo was so bad I had to switch to Russian for immersion sake, but then I spent the whole time reading subtitles rather than actually immersing myself in the world because the characters don’t shut up. I really like the universe they created, and the game is very graphically impressive. The guns feel powerful once u get the hang of combining certain ones with ur powers and different elemental effects. I like the upgrade mechanics and that you can respec whenever u like. I hope they get to make a sequel because it’s got so much potential. I honestly didn’t bother with the dlc’s, everyone seems to say they dropped the ball real bad with those and I ain’t about to drop my money on ‘em to make up my own mind, shit is expensive.
ОтветитьGreat game and spiritual predecessor /homage to Bioshock 1.
What’s not to love about creepy robots, upgradable weapons and an alternative futuristic timeline.
Great video! Its currently 60% off on PSn, so was looking for a recent vid about the current state of the game. Looks really interesting.
