As part of Global Intergenerational Week 2025, the Legacy Project and the Design School for Regenerating Earth co-hosted an international, intergenerational event – Regenerating Earth Across Knowledge Systems and Generations.

What do we need to (re)learn across generations and knowledge systems to be in right relationship and back in balance with living systems?

Featured Speakers:
Brian Puppa, Executive Director, Legacy Project
Susan V. Bosak, Founder and Lead Educator, Legacy Project
Joe Brewer, Co-Founder, Design School for Regenerating Earth
Penny Heiple, Co-Founder, Design School for Regenerating Earth
Dr. Dan Longboat, Associate Professor at Trent University

We also had three Greater Tkaronto Bioregion intergenerational teams – with students from Donald Cousens Public School, Pickering College, and Markville Secondary School – sharing real-world legacy projects they've done.

One of the most important things young and old can do in these uncertain times is to hold each other's hand as we create a legacy for future generations.
