Nascar rushed this car out. It has many flaws. Flat tire issue, toe link issue , shifting issue, tires are too wide, brakes are too big, etc...

Luckily Chase is the golden child and drives for the untouchable felon, otherwise he'd be failing inspection and getting towed into the campgrounds a few times by the France mafia.

As long as I live I will never know how they came up with this car and the design so that if you have a flat tire you are stuck. That is the dumbest thing ever. That should've been dealt with early on. Now it's completely ruining races.

The flat bottom design shell on the Cup cars is a great design for IMSA road racing but a terrible design for stock car racing. When it comes to flat tires the shell sits flat on the ground causing the car to beach itself, it’s a terrible design that needs to go.

Chase Elliot is right. The car design is flawed. The design issue needs to be fixed in order to allow the cars to get back to the pits on a flat tire. NASCAR and Goodyear are fully capable of solving this issue so that the DVP is fair and equitable. Otherwise the run for a competitive Cup Series Championship is flawed as well.
