How about all of the hours you put into listing those things..theoretically pay yourself the minimum wage and that is how unprofitable it really was.
The creators of these sites really should be ashamed of themselves.

I have been on eBay since 2001 and the fees have become ridiculous, EBay takes advantage of people and has become flooded with garbage stuff from overseas mass sellers like China. Ruby Lane is an antique and collectibles site, not a place to go and resale clothes you buy at Ross or TJ Max. eBay is no longer a good place to sale period.

Thanks for this video. Ruby Lane is so antiquated that I can't even deal, plus people can return the item. Sticking with Posh and Mercari. They are way more user friendly.

This was very helpful! I don't think this sounds like something I would want to try. They want to control you. Whenever that's a factor, something is really wrong. I don't believe it's worth the hastle. I think i'll focus on getting going with Poshmark, Mercari and Etsy. Thanks a bunch for making this HOT SWEATY video to help other people avoid pitfalls and loss of time and money. I wish I had someone like you to learn under. I am trying to get up and going with vintage and antique glassware and china and the odd item once in a while. I have had back problems for a while and it's made it difficult just to do housework, let alone working a regular job. God Bless your business and your family!
