Trying Katz's deli for the first time...

We ordered their sandwich kit. It arrived frozen, but we followed the instructions and thawed it out. The bread is so skinny, it was hard to construct the sandwich. The meat was good I guess if you like pastrami. Mustard seemed inadequate. Pickles were good. I was underwhelmed.

I am sick of seeing people review Katz, we get it. It looks like a shite sandwich for 30 quid

A one sandwich heart attack!

I went to Katzs about a year ago and the sandwich that the counterman made for me was tiny and the derma was microwaved and really sucked. For the price they should treat you better. Last week 10/24 a friend sent me a holiday box from Katzs and it too was awful. The brisket was just OK but the pastrami again was tough and tasteless. The unseeded rye was day or 2 old and fell apart. I think the meat that you buy mail order is the scraps from a few days earlier. At least it tastes like scraps. No more Katz deli for this boy. It's a rip off playing on their name.
