How fast is the Expose theme from StudioPress out of the box? We test it on WPEngine with the same demo setup used on StudioPress.

This is Brett from WPThemeSpeed and today we're looking at the Exposé Theme from StudioPress we've taken the site, loaded it up on our own real host at WPEngine and we reconfigured the demo on our own site such that we can speed test it and see how fast this thing is out-of-the-box first we're going to check it on Pingdom.com, load in our URL to test out button and as we get the results and this theme loads at a whopping speed of 728 ms of scores and 95 great results were not running a CDN on these images an extra check WebPageTest.org emulate the chrome browser this checks not only for the initial page load speed but also the repeat view that second time they might load the page so you can send how fast it loads after someone's cash or site on their particular browser size these results come back we again season decent results for the 1.78 first few load and appoint to repeat view again our images are not compressed we could do some optimization there there is room for proof meant with these additional images straight off the demo site binary check page speed insights from Google this tells us not a speed but it does tell us where we can fix things up it points us in the right direction in this case I tells us that our mobile scores a 75 it's a little on the low side winning optimize images it says and is room for improvement and JavaScript and CSS files to be minimize and loaded together the desktop scores and 85 which is a little on the desktop as well so there's this from room for improvement on this particular theme but in general it's no/so there you have it the Exposé Theme from StudioPress running on WPEngine is the host nice baseline scores
