Thanks for this info! I just started running or more aptly, moving. I’m 48. 6’1” @ 310lbs. I started enjoying it. Not breaking any land speed records. But just ran 3mi in 45 mins. That was a goal of mine.

I’m loving that FWH banner on your door. 👊🏽 Fellow Eagle here…

When I was at university I was concerned at how unfit I was. My running started after dark when going to buy milk around the corner. Nobody could see how little I managed… but it got better and became an intermittent habit when circumstances allowed. Took until a few years ago when I turned 50 and the kids were old enough to be ignored a bit more for me to get serious with it. I’m the fittest I’ve been in my life now and hit the trails whenever I can. It’s so much easier with the internet now to realise that anyone can run. It’s the one sport that takes NO SKILL. 😁 one foot, then the other.

Great video. I started running about 11 years ago after getting family pictures done with my kids. I was confused and didn't understand who thr fat guy sitting with my kids was. My first run lasted 52 seconds. Today ive run multiple ultras and still dont consider myself a runner. Life would be alot different if not for the running community that i am surrounded by.
