John 17:17
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
I am so touched and proud of you. You are so knowledgeable about the Church and her teachings. I was a lot of Catholics will have interest and be involved in the life of the Church. So that we don't turn out like seeds that fall on the pathway.
ОтветитьIn Protestantism with these views, wouldn't that possibly mean that everyone receives the same reward in Heaven? Like no sin or sanctity affects your status with God really, so, your reward on Heaven is just set once you believe on Christ. Having trouble explaining this but I've wondered about it for a while.
ОтветитьLegalism is blaspemy, it teach that God the Son deceve God the Father, and also deny forgivness
ОтветитьExcellent. I’ve only seen a couple of your videos - but you have a very clear way of explaining and presenting things. I pray that your channel continues to grow! The more clear and strong Catholic voices out there are, the better!
ОтветитьGreat job! So many people on both sides create this either/ or false dilemma. Once the again the perennial Catholic position of its both/and. This is fundamentally an issue with a lot of dialogue. So many Protestants think about theology in terms of either/or. It is certainly a stumbling block for many. Even sometimes Catholic apologists in a desire to "give a defense" make this mistake as well.
ОтветитьStop get some help mr. protestant
ОтветитьProtestantism is little more than heretical nonsense. I'd rather be of the Nestorian Assyrian Church of the East than ever be Protestant again. Praise be to God He's leading me out of those heresies.
ОтветитьJustification isn’t forensic bros when they learn Paul spends most of his epistles talking about how we are “*guilty under the law*”. Go ahead and tell me that law isn’t a legal term.
ОтветитьAs a Protestant, this is probably the best Catholic description I’ve ever heard of Sola Fide. Thank you so much for not Strawmanning us!
ОтветитьI'm currently reading Erick Ybarra's book "The Just Shall Live by Faith: Resolving the Catholic-Protestant Debate on Justification from Paul's Epistle to the Romans." Highly recommend for anyone looking to understand the Catholic view of justification and how rooted in Scripture and the Fathers it is!!!
