I want to start a degree in computer science. I've built a passion for coding lately. But will machine learning make that obsolete? Or much harder to get a nice salary with a decent company? If software engineering is replaced is there other areas for a computer science grad to be effective in?

Im currently working at a company that validates data from different companies. We either accept or reject this data. How can machine learning improve our process of validation?

How can we apply this to monitor network traffic and to decide what is the normal traffic pattern of a particular network. Any idea ?
