Anthony and Stanford being thrown together was the most blatant example of lazy and brain-dead writing out there. "Oh yeah.. let's make the only two gay characters on the show get married".. Almost as brain dead as what they did to Miranda in "Just like Crap".

How did Anthony and Stanford end up falling in love and getting married

Honestly Anthony and Sanford should never have gotten married in the first place. They did not like each other very much. Not all gay people are going to be friends. It's like when a TV show introduces a new black character of the opposite sex to an existing black character. That isn't how the real world works.

I wish Standford and Anthony had more scenes

Stanford sees Anthony: Oh how I hate him.
Stanford: I'm going to marry him someday.

They shouldn't have had Stanford run off and get divorced.
But, of course, doing a storyline about a man grieving for his husband would overshadow Carrie's widow storyline.

After all the struggle and growth Anthony and Stanford went through, and the real world struggle for marriage equality, Stanford divorcing Anthony is just so wrong for the story.

I want to know how Anthony would have handled the whole process, and how he would have displayed his grief.

Was never there for everything falls into place for her Carrie, but for the other characters who were challenged and grew and evolved.

Personally, I hate the Carrie-Show

Stanford and Anthony were 2 great characters but the decision for them to get married was a stupid mistake. The hand of the writer was bigger than the characters.
