I think NEW JEANS or NJZ deserves to be an independent group if they don't feel safe with Ador/ Hybe. But I recently found out they're hanging out with an illit lessera bts anti who is also a bunny. Knowing how racist and toxic/ problematic this person is they (Hanni, Dani) choose to hangout with them. Manipulated or not they need to grow up.

Sonmi is a rushed idol, I remember an article that JYP once said about her the reason that she did not debut in JYP first is that “She got star quality but lack preparation.” Let’s say she later debuted as an actress or a host to some tv show in Korea abd then signed with JYP with actress contract but later on ditch JYP for Black label. What I want to say is that she lacks patience and the result of her situation was her decisions.

NJZ performing a new song was a bad decision. That song will surely be squashed or banned by ADOR/HYBE. The PITSTOP title doesn’t fit to the teaser that is some kind of sweet visual. Looks like the song was rushed and unpolished.

Even though I know Angelina said before that she doesn't want to "side with big corporations/Hybe" ( and I ttly get that), she should realize that those girls rly don't deserve that much respect. They've been shady from the start, and they've had a lot of status and privilege given to them early in their lives.

I think focusing on whether NewJeans is right, or wrong, is kind of missing the greater picture. This whole mess with NewJeans vs Ador/Hybe shows a much bigger problem in the Kpop industry: The artist aren't considered employees of the management company. But they also aren't fully independent as well due to how expensive it can be to break a contract. Could you imagine wanting to quit your job, for whatever reason... but legally, you can't?

I don't imagine you go to work thinking you'll be financially penalized by your job if you quit. At the same time, these agencies invest a lot of money into the idols, so if idols could just quit before earning any returns for the agencies, the agencies would be constantly losing tons of money. Hence the contracts that are crazy expensive to break. It's a weird problem.

I think this is something the whole Kpop industry needs to define clearly, for the sake of both sides (the agencies and the idols): Should idols be considered employees, business partners, independent contractors, or what? Because the current situation where agencies invest tons of money into idols... and in exchange, have these contracts that are extremely expensive to get out of, thus forcing the idols to work even when they may not want to... that kind of sounds like indentured servitude.

I wish nwjnz/njz kept journal entries over the course of them becoming/being nwjnz. that would've been solid evidence.

Unsubstantied Theory that's Definitely True: Min Hee Jin's "foreign investors," alluded to in the early days of the scandal (we don't talk about this anymore because... no one is curious? ...idk), the ones who are trying to steal NewJeans from Hybe, are probably the American media company Liberty Media. Liberty Media owns Ticketmaster, Live Nation Entertainment (live music shows), Charter Communications (cable tv), and... Formula One racing. We just learned that NewJeans' new song "Pit Stop" is inspired by Formula One and set to debut on the same day as the Chinese Grand Prix. Kpop comeback concepts are not randomly selected, obviously. Making a Formula One song would have been a strategic decision based on a business tie-in with Formula One. Acquiring NewJeans as an asset would be a perfect way to attempt to drive youth interest in racing and have Liberty Media's businesses cross-pollinate. I hope they fail. I want Min Hee Jin out and NewJeans back with Hybe so they can grow and make great music again.

If New Jeans had a smoking gun to prove their claims, then they would have provided one a long time ago. But it doesn't exist. They were banking on public opinion to sway things like idiots thinking that that would some how trump or circumnavigate the law.

There is no NJZ. Newjeans only know how to operate outside the law. I am glad their lies have been exposed. They had no problem taking millions from Hybe and Ador. The Law has prevailed.

I just don't get why they didn't just pay the termination fee and left the clean way, without attacking and dragging other groups for the stupidiest reasons...
