Well I certainly wasn’t expecting a battletech reference at the end, but it’s certainly a welcome surprise to be sure!
ОтветитьHave to say I love what you are doing. Thanks for introducing me to Mystara!
ОтветитьOh no! I just picked up the first Dragonlord of Mystara book in a used book store, lol. Im reading it anyway, but at least my expectations are now low, lol.
Ответитьflappy lizard boy
ОтветитьMeddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.
ОтветитьThe first book in that trilogy is the only D&D book (well, TSR-era) that I've actively stopped reading. It's that bad.
Ответить🏴
ОтветитьWell, let's face it, a D&D adventure group tends to be a lot like Mercenaries and we all know the Draconis Combine general rule of "Death to Mercenaries". So, in an odd way, it is kind of like adventuring on a dragon plane uninvited.
ОтветитьHow do these planes fit into the Great Wheel cosmology? Are they demiplanes in the Astral? Are they Domains in one of the layers of the planes in the Great Wheel? Or is this a completely different cosmology unconnected to the Great Wheel?
ОтветитьHey Mr. Welch, what book is the best source of information on thr dagon immortals and their planes? I qm slowly buying the becmi books as pods
ОтветитьDraeden are aligned with the sphere of thought. They might be interested in the beauty and majesty of the dragon spirits, and the grey formless raw potentiatily of the grey lands of the great dragon. There could be a faction within the Draeden that are considering approeaching The Great One with whom they see as a potiential natural ally.
Food for thoutght. Thats how I run it in my campaign world, and I have Immortals playing, so I had to think this up.
Having just read through the Immortals box set book last week, the Draeden are mentioned to be mutually respectful and nonhostile with dragons, despite them being essentially intelligent trash compactors and having nothing in common with dragons.
