So strange she got backlash. Blazers are for men. We shall not dress as men. Shorts are for men. And she shows off her legs and thighs. It is not difficult to read simple Bible verses if she is going to spread the word instead of spreading the world. She should just listen to it, dress differently and learn by it. Come as you are means to come to church as you are but most people adjust so they do not make it difficult for christians. I do not understand what is your problem either of understanding simple verses of the Bible.?

This is very important to understand since as the fashion and music industry makes women to objects, they want us to loose dignity since they want women to be slaves. Even naked dresses they make women to slaves without clothes and it is tragical that women are as naive to think it is feminism.THEREFORE wear a skirt or dress and wear a womanly jacket not manly suits blazers Then people will listen to her words that comes from Jesus in the Bible, if she share his message and not her own as she atleast dresses as the world. I think you rather should understand it is a normal effect when speaking in your underwear nearly about Jesus because Christians love Jesus and want others to be saved too and not think Jesus want women to look like that but to have clothes and feel safe not having to sell their bodies but have protection. Just go to Him as you are. You don’t have to be perfect. The only thing He requires is a full surrender of your life. Go to Him and give Him your life and everything. And you get The Holy Spirit once you lay everything down, including your life at The Lord’s feet. He says in His Word “Not by might, not by power but by my Spirit”.
People think Christianity is boring. That’s because they see it as a religion. Christianity is not a religion, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who loves you and gave Himself for you. Having a relationship with Christ is the most joyful fulfilling thing you can ever have. Jesus changed my life and He wants to change yours as well. The reason we are all here is to fellowship with and have a relationship with God.

To be a Christian is to follow Christ and to try to be Christ like… spirituality can be a number of Deitys …Yes when you come to Christ and are saved and baptized you receive the Holy Spirit. Therefore, your spirit can connect with the Holy Spirit but that has nothing to do with being spiritual so let’s not get that confused or put the two together.

I had somewhat of an opinion, but then I seen that apparently this was a women's only event? Honestly, many churches teach women that the only/main reason that they need to practice wearing modest clothing is to "protect" their brothers in Christ... So, if there are no men, then what incentive would those same women have to dress a certain way?

I mean look at how the people are dressed in the back—that church in particular seems to have no issue in how people present themselves before the Lord. Before we criticize the guests, we need to examine the church. What fruit are they producing allowing members to still look and smell like the world?

I'm just heartbroken when I see this. I wonder how we can be so blind as to not realize our own flaws. The backlash or criticism is in alignment, at the same time, we Christian women should watch out for the way we dress and show up. Let's pray for one another and hope the best for each other, and for Simone. Honestly, I'm not a beliver of the pants for men and dresses and skirts for women, but we do need to consider modesty in the Christian community. The heart and the outfits go hand in hand; let's not fool ourselves. Rather, let's embark on this journey to also transform our appearance because the bible mentions it, especially for women. Decent outfits and moderation in appearance are not only for a certain type of church but for all Christian women. May the Lord enlighten us on this journey.
