Acrylic Waterproofing Project - Country Pines Apartment Complex

From start to finish, watch the process of waterproofing a large complex built-up roof covering with R400 Rubber.

This project begins with preparing the roof surface for the primer. A thorough pressure cleaning is done over the entire roof, including the parapet walls. Then the Pro Bond 200 primer is applied. Next a portland cement slurry is covered over the entire flat roof surface. This ensures that the waterproofing product has a solid surface to adhere to. Once the slurry is cured, the first coat of R400 Rubber is applied to the entire surface, including the parapet walls. The next coat is applied with a polyester membrane in areas that deal with standing water and ponding. This adds an extra layer of protection and strength to the waterproofing system. Another full coat of R400 Rubber is applied to complete the project.
