I really love the honesty of these reviews, and support for the lower and mid-tier guitars.
My favourite guitar is my Les Paul shaped guitar - it's light, double humbuckers, hard tail, and looks the business. It makes me smile just looking at it.
I am the singer in our band, so I mostly just sling it to the side, but it feels good on stage! :)

Paul, How do you like the strings? What gauge are they. By the way and not to sound too sappy. I love your sound on that guitar. You are much better than you think you are.

Would love a restart, there’s a spot in my guitar rack screaming for one.
Am actually looking for a SA15 Yamaha from 68’ to 72’ to restore. Perhaps it would be a great content for your channel

It took me years to get a handle on recording software, and after 20 years of it I still only use a fraction of what it can do. Don't waste so much time learning how to use it that you don't get around to making any music.

This guitar is so good, even the not-straight edge is rocking out to it!

My current fav guitar is my Solar S1.6HLB Lime Burst Matte. Yea not a cheap guitar, but it's solid. I got confident after watching enough of your videos to set it up properly. It was already pretty bang on. One fret was a tiny little rocker at one end but I left it. Fitted with NYXL strings, man that thing growls. My other guitar (LTD) has a Floyd Rose so doesn't get much attention. It's like the "special" baby brother.

Paul - can you please get something to upstage John Cordy's ridiculous machete-cross-Bowie knife that he unboxes his guitars with? Look up the Revstar RS720B video for some pant wetting unboxing...

Smashed that like button before play, that's where we all are now, that's the confidence in what's about to follow. 👍🎸

Love the shape of these guitars and if I had room I’d be after one for sure. A p90 version for me, but I’ve got to say that sounded fantastic in your demo. Really nice playing Paul! What a colour, it’s borderline offensive. I love it

Yamahas at any price point are so much more of a value in terms of QUALITY than most other brands. I've never been disappointed after picking one up, except in myself for dropping more loot on more expensive (paying for marketing) guitars.

The light in Fritzl's basement completely changed the colour for me, from bright flashy green to a more grassy like green.
Love the Revvers, been gassing on them ever since the first series came out but never pulled the trigger on one.

I know it probably wouldn't be the most "exciting" video, but would you consider doing a step by step tutorial of everything you would check and in what order for proper set up and maintenance? There is such gold throughout your videos and it would be amazing to have it all in one place as a reference / guide

Just bought a PRS SE CE 24 and it’s pretty nice but the action is quite high. Would be nice if you could make a video on one of these as I’m otherwise very impressed - apparently adjusting action is a bit trickier than normal as PRS use a weird trem?

I had to take mine back. I think the frets were too high combined with a slightly shorter scale made some chords out of tune. Another I tried had fret sprout. I'm still a fan of these guitars and a big fan of Yamaha but like all large brands these days, things can get passed QC. Another lesson learned in trying properly before you buy.

Hey Paul, on some ABR style bridges, you can turn the saddle backward, which will give about 1/8 more adjustment on that string. Great vid, you crotchety bastard 😂

Slightly off topic. But why don't you make your chopping boards or bread boards guitar body shaped, except Flying V or even pick shaped coasters for those who love guitars and put them on your sales page. Just an Idea sir. Love your vids, the headless guitar was awesome as are all you guitars

Over the weekend, I did my first full fret level, crown, and polish. I had the confidence to do that because of what I learned watching you do it over the last year or so. You're definitely funny and really entertaining, but you give a lot of good, practical info as well, and it helped me out - the guitar I leveled and finished frets on has no buzzes, no rockers, and not a fuckin dead note to be found now. So thanks, man.
