I'm gonna be that guy and say this isn't a consumer issue, it's a company issue. Pre-ordering wouldn't be problematic if they would just finish their damn games. It shouldn't be the consumer's responsibility. Waiting until it's fully patched only encourages the problematic attitude of releasing a game and fixing it later.
