If "spirits" aren't present at Mapperton I'd ask the real estate agent " why not? Bc having a house that's hundreds of yrs old.. such just go together. lol
ОтветитьOnce again, Luke's parents steal the show! Potential episode, Lady Sandwich, her background in art, and some of the "deals" that she has gotten on portraits and other paintings.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьOk all of you complaining about “interrupting”. Every person except the lady tour guide interrupted the other. They all interrupt each other! So it’s not just Julie, it’s all of them in this show except the tour guide lady. So stop complaining and calling Julie out specifically. It’s not an issue. Just stop.
ОтветитьRestore those orange curtains from Hinchingbrooke? Julie you've got to be kidding, they're ready for the bin! There are also some of the others you showed that need to be REPLACED, trying to repair curtains that are rotting is a total waste of time, they will just continue to deteriorate. You have a beautiful home but rotting curtains, I can't believe it.
ОтветитьI want a plate rack like that one!
ОтветитьThis was a fun video!! And really enjoy seeing the Earl and Countess themselves. They're spry and cool. :)
ОтветитьI love lukes parents...such knowledgeable unbiased for their own concern or country's actually... awesome history w portraits to bring up the tales....and they are so knowledgeable about details..whether phisical or historical
ОтветитьThese families who succeed at saving there estates are brilliant and hard working....but so many lost their homes
....so sad...but the efforts needed are extrodinare
Bless your family and your concerns
ОтветитьAll SO fascinating. I especially appreciate the Earl and the Countess's wonderful information, historical facts, and memories.
ОтветитьThe gong was most likely used to notify of Dinner to be served.
ОтветитьI love listening to your parents! The are such fonts of information!
ОтветитьLove your videos!! Old windows, vintage bathrooms and kitchens are my favorite! Actually I love narrow turning servants stairs. I just love everything of these homes. All the details are excellant!
ОтветитьShoot, the book is out of stock. I was going to buy it for my friend who turned me on to the Montaques, Mapperton, American Heiress, and Julie in Italy.
ОтветитьI totally agree “ are you going to have a good day” or “are you going to have a good day “
ОтветитьYYYAAASSS ❤❤ my 2 favorite old DEARS ⭐️⭐️ the Well to Do Stars ⚜️⚜️ who lived IT 📖📖 the/ir stories are EVERYTHING 💛💯👌🏽

ОтветитьGeez Julie! You have a cuppa bell! I’d be blasting that thing all day!!
Drink slave 👏🏼👏🏼😂
Your mother in laws memory is a literal MUSEUM!! So impressive ❤
Loved this video! Luke's parents have a wealth of knowledge and so lovely to listen to.
Luke and Julie, so well done in your efforts to restore and upkeep! ❤
Love you guys! And Julie, lovely dress! You both should definitely get your portraits done together! We are eagerly waiting. So please commission an artist soon!
No tablecloth?!
Ответитьwhy no tablecloth?
ОтветитьMy type A personality is going nuts over the wonky candles.
Ответить"Cold heads, hot tempers." Gave me a burst of laughter. Thank you.
ОтветитьHello watching from Perth Western Australia 🌏🦘🏖️
ОтветитьThe picture of Luke's mum as a small child with the blue ribbons is very charming ...
ОтветитьLoved Luke's parents tour of the interesting things in the house. Very enjoyable to see Luke setting the table with such attention to detail. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьIf your going to get your portrait done I really recommend Phoebe Dickinson who painted the manners or Jamie Coreth who painted the prince an princess of wales great society painters at the moment there’s more great painters but I think those are the best ones at the moment
ОтветитьA family portrait would be a lovely addition.
ОтветитьLove everyone there Julie and Luke hugs! Love tours all!😊
ОтветитьI've seen parts of this video, but when i first heard larder, i didn't hear the "R", and my gear head heard Lada, an old Russian car still seen all over Russia lol. As your kid's get older, and start their own lives, then they might let you film them on you tube, but it has been nice seeing them when they have been on. I personally wouldn't film kid's that are young and put them on any social media, because my niece had a visit from a police detective, who showed her a book owned by a paedophile, and picture's of her children were in the the book. Thankfully her kid's had never seen the guy, but there were many picture's of other kid's who had been molested by this sicko, because he found their picture's and tracked them down on face book. The detective also let her know that these people also take these photo's, and alter them with photo shop software, and create some really awful stuff with it. I watch you tube, but i have never used any other social media, because I've seen so many accounts hacked, on top of hearing about the sick stuff people do with your information. I'm in my 50's, so i haven't grown up with all this stuff, and see both it's usefulness, but also the dark part of it. My husband passed away shortly after we were married, so i have stayed single and never had kid's, so i never posted stuff like many people do. I. thought maybe anyone reading comments might want to know the kind of people who could be watching your social media, and to be careful.
G-d bless from a lady in Michigan, USA.
Thanks Earl and duchess!
ОтветитьAmazing show as always ❤
ОтветитьGreat episode!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your home and its history with us. I find it all fascinating. This may have been covered in a previous video, but I've always been curious -- any history, stories, or incidences regarding Mapperton possibly being haunted?
ОтветитьYour mother is such a treasure of knowledge. Love hearing the history of everything. She certainly has a wonderful memory.
ОтветитьIt's very interesting to see the portait of the only Portuguese noblewoman, who became queen consort of the United Kingdom, and aunt of King D. João IV of Portugal and Duke of Braganca, considered the richest Ducal House in the Iberian Peninsula.
Unfortunately, the story of Catarina de Braganza is a little faded and poorly studied, due to her being Catholic and her strong personality etc... Thank you for sharing...
Why did you need a guardian ad litem?
ОтветитьPlease do let your parents know how enjoyable each are to watch. Their views, opinions, insights, knowledge of history and family history. How wonderful it is to see them and to learn from both.
ОтветитьJulie,
Your husband comes across like the British version of Mr. Rogers, of US tv fame. I mean this as a total compliment!
He has a very calming voice!
How wonderful that you now include him in your videos!
Can’t wait to see what you 2
Will be doing for the holidays/Christmas! Thanks for the lovely upload! Dorset is my favorite county in the UK.
Greetings from California❤
Great video, from beginning to end. Luke, you have such fascinating parents, wonderful to watch all the knowledge that you “all” possess Thank You
ОтветитьThe smaller fork should be on the left of the larger dinner fork. I had an English Mother
ОтветитьOpening and closing those curtains is about the most ridiculous waste of time I’ve seen.
ОтветитьAre you concerned about the sun bleaching the antques, paintings and furniture etc?
ОтветитьThis video has been balm to this New Englander's aching heart after a horrible day in the US
ОтветитьCould we meet Beryl sometime?
