Incheon's Chinatown is known for several landmark things in Korea's history. First, it is the entry port of Chinese immigrants since the 1880's. Since then, they have established this Chinatown area in Incheon for over 100 years.
Along with this establishment is the creation of Korean's version of Jjajangmyeon (짜장면), or Black Bean Noodles. Jjajangmyeon street, specifically has several amazing restaurants that serve both traditional and modern Jjajangmyeon, as well as other Chinese dishes.
Finally, Freedom Park (자유공원) borders Chinatown, and is a symbol of Korea's liberation during WWII. It is a nature preserve that memorializes the Joseon-America treaty back in 1882 (around the same time as the aforementioned Chinese immigrants), celebrating Douglas MacArthur's achievement of liberating the city by entering the port of Incheon.
Incheon Chinatown is very accessible even from Seoul! Simply take subway line 1 all the way to Incheon Station--it will be right outside of the station waiting for you.
