Ngl I clicked on this video specifically cause I was interested in those Chelsea's. Lol
ОтветитьShell Cordovan is the best.
ОтветитьCongrats on getting your permanent residency!
ОтветитьWhere can I find and buy bulk cork for boots/shoes ?
Ответитьwhat brand of leather gloves do you wear? maybe a new video about them and how they are made?
ОтветитьI didn't even know kangaroos were able to make boots.
ОтветитьAfter buying kangaroo boots, I was able to dunk in a basketball game for the first time. 🦘🏀
ОтветитьAnd here I was thinking kangaroos couldn't even become cobblers!
ОтветитьI'm sure kangaroos weren't destroying the landscape before European settlers arrived. Perhaps the fact that Australia now has a huge sheep and cattle industry competing with the kangaroos for food is something to do with them starving. I eat meat and I own kangaroo and deer/antelope skin boots from several manufacturers but suggesting the kangaroo (or deer) are the problem rather than humans is at the very least misleading.
Anyway, I like my kangaroo boots a lot and wish more boot makers used the nice lightweight leather.
Old school soccer boots were made of kangaroo and were "da best"!
ОтветитьLol Nick I'm Aussie and I have 4 pairs of Rm's and not one of them is a Chelsea boot. 😂
ОтветитьGood looking boot, but I prefer Chelsea boots to have a more wide square toe, similar to a cowboy boot
ОтветитьThose boots are insanely beautiful. Nicely done!
ОтветитьSurprised to not see the your Grant Stone Ottowa boomers !?
Ответитьyou appear to have Woodsman heels on your pair... would you recommend that or Cuban heels? You mentioned as a down side that Kangaroo leather stretches and it took you a month to get the right size, would that mean this is taken into account when they make the boot for a given size/measurements provided or this needs to be specified? how could we get this sizing right?
ОтветитьKangaroos make better boots than other animals because they have hands
ОтветитьWhen did Kangaroos learn how to make leather boots?
ОтветитьAustralia is crawling with kangaroos, they're not endangered in the slightest lol
ОтветитьI've never seen a kangaroo making a pair of boots...
ОтветитьI have the GS Ottowas in this leather. I'd also add the following: 1. The tighter grain will roll more than crease compared to cow leather. 2. The abrasion resistance is worse so don't plan on beating them up that way. 3. You might get some cool bug bites. 4. I like the flexibility and lightness it feels compared to most other leathers once broken in.
ОтветитьI'm Australian and I don't like Chelsea boots... I'm definitely a minority.
Walking around the CBD in Melbourne 90% of the boots I see are RMs
I have a pair of ML Leddy (Texas boot maker) kangaroo leather western boots. I love them so so much.
ОтветитьNice! Probably the only Chelsea boots I'd ever consider wearing.
ОтветитьI own 3 RMs in kangaroo and they're some of my favorite boots to wear. Kangaroo really is some of the best leather you can get.
ОтветитьBoots made from kangaroo leather put a bounce in your step
ОтветитьThere is one heck of supply chain to make 40 pairs of boots. Australia - Italy - Indonesia- delivery country.
ОтветитьAustralia is much more scary than the USA.....you have Feral Bogans and Sheilas. We just have bears.
ОтветитьI was tricked it was an ad. well played.
ОтветитьWho says you need opposable thumbs and a basic understanding of tools and machinery to make good leather, not kangaroos! All jokes aside, I’m not a fan of Chelsea boots but I do kinda dig the kangaroo leather. Also, lay off the cougars, they’re only really dangerous if you pick one up from a bar after midnight.
ОтветитьI had a thrifted pair of ‘roo boots in the 80’s that were much like 1K Wolverines that were pretty great. They were strong and soft, lasted for years.
ОтветитьDarn sold out!
ОтветитьDeer dont have long tails and claws...
RATS, now those have long tails and claws.
Roos are rats, but big ones.
Ugh, wish this came in a slightly smaller size, I'm around a 6E. Congratulations on your collaboration for your own boot!
ОтветитьCalifornia's law against Kangaroo leather is so weird and stupid.
ОтветитьStridewise, you're killing me. Im still waiting for you other collab boots with Caswell now I have to get these too. But im glad your impact isnt just reviewing boots and you can say your name is on two boots for now. Much respect 👏🏾
ОтветитьI want Kangaroo boot. Ordered from Grant Stone w/o realizing California had blanket banned it...
ОтветитьRM Williams are kangaroo leather and are garbage quality nowadays, I've got Trickers Stow in African Kudo leather, best boots I've ever owned.
ОтветитьI can always count on a few good belly-laughs while watching your videos and reading comments. Those boots are gorgeous, if I wasn't destitute I would be all over those. I can totally get behind this trend since I dont like kangaroos.
ОтветитьVery nice boots and I agree about the kangaroo leather, it’s great. These boots our way out of my price point though.
ОтветитьThey make for great motorcycle gear too
ОтветитьI have a kangaroo wallet from RM Williams. When I tell you it still looks as new as it does when I bought it six years ago, it’s crazy. Phenomenal skin!
ОтветитьGot a pair of Grant Stone green kangaroo diesels for Christmas from my wife in 2023 and absolutely love them to this day!!
ОтветитьI LOVE roo leather, and have been patiently waiting more offerings to be available, particularly from Grant Stone. Unfortunately, I was recently told that the tanneries have slowed or stopped production of it. Hopefully it is just temporary.
ОтветитьDeer don’t punch you in the face 🥊
ОтветитьI'm in.
Ответить😂 you got us
ОтветитьGrant Stone's natural kangaroo boots are fantastic
ОтветитьRecycling old content ideas huh? Are you a having creativity blockage? It’s ok, it happens.
