What lenses and bodies do you want us to test in part 2?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьYou talked about the sigma contemporary but showed the tamron one?
ОтветитьGreat teacher Amazing energising excellent videos full of knowledge and insight and facts
ОтветитьWatching this video made me forget i am in pain..so thankyou for the relaxation
ОтветитьFrom everything I hear the Sigma 150-600 is not as sharp as the Tamron 150-600 G2 and the Tamron G2 150-600 has faster focus and is sharper all around.
It’s so confusing sometimes. I wish people would base reviews off of the facts.
If I were a reviewer, I would do two separate portions in my reviews. I would do a compiled list of all of the reviews on the internet and have chat gtp break it down into a very high detailed comprehensive overview. And than I would basically try to put the top most notable features that all the real owners of the lens (chat gpt would have it all compiled) to the test to see if I am able to replicate the pros or the cons of the lens or camera.
I feel like it would make top 10 or top lens overviews much more realistic and there wouldn’t be the same words used over and over and if it were to be used over. It would be something like. The Sigma, is a great lens when it comes to sharpness. But so is the Tamron, it is great as well. Though overall the Tamron 150-600 G2 is going to be better. But the real question is can your eyes even tell. You would be surprised on how often people get it wrong. As quality is determined on a shot by shot basis. And with every great lens there will still always be soft shots. There is no way around it. So how about if you can’t tell the difference, you probably don’t need to upgrade to it.
Also I see that you guys are comparing the old Tamron with the Sigma 150-600. It makes sense why it wouldn’t be much different than the Sigma. But now with the G2 it blows the Sigma out of the water. Honestly, it’s keeping up with L lenses.
Thank you so much This video is very useful for me in this moment.
ОтветитьWould you please compare the Nikon 200-500 with the Z 180-600? Please include the cameras as you did with this video with the z 7ii bei g one of them.
ОтветитьWhat a great review of wildlife lenses. In 2022, I bought a Canon R5 with a Canon 100-500 that I really like. I use their RF 2x attachment to get 1000mm with two stops of light.
ОтветитьNo offense i shot better pics on my nikon d3300 with a 33-200 mm lens way more clean. N clear images on birds and animals. Even with out a tripod
ОтветитьHeyy, so I have a question I am Sony A6700 user with a sigma 150-600mm so I am just wondering if the Sony
200-600mm lens is more faster in focusing the subject (like an flying bird) than the sigma? because Well sometime the thing is even when the camera detects the subject and shows a green box around the subject as it is flying, when I go and check the image and press the zoom button (which zoom to the spot where it is most focused on) it doesn't zooms to bird but it zooms somewhere behind the bird as it missed to focus on it. Do you know a cause for it?
I don't know where yall birds be that you can use a 300 to portrait the bird. Where I live they sit 100 meters from me at all times, I can't get close to anything :((.
ОтветитьAll thanks friends
ОтветитьDont even get me started with the sigam 150-600 sport its very fast and very sharp just shut your mouth
ОтветитьAny one lens give me sir
ОтветитьMust have a bad copy of the Sigma 150-600mm Sport lens because mine is just as sharp as my Nikon 200-500mm lens.
ОтветитьThis is Lens Porn
ОтветитьOff to buy a 400mm f/5.6 on Friday. I know it doesn't have IS but I don't think it'll be a huge problem as I have fairly steady hands and I have a tripod. Fairly cheap too and prime lens are always more sharp than zoom lens! Especially for the price I'll be getting it for
ОтветитьThank you Northups! Very informative video.
ОтветитьWow so amazing 👏 I wish I could afford a better one then f4.5 to 5.6 100-400mm lense but I try to use what I have for my canon ef
ОтветитьRf 100-400 IS missing!
Ответить200-500 paired with a D500 is heaven!
ОтветитьWhat would it be like to use a more basic model like Nikon D3400 with the 200-500mm Nikon lens? And what would be the difference between upgrading to a D7200 and D500?
ОтветитьIf you are pro, earn thousands of dollars a month, get the best one otherwise go for the one your budget allows.
ОтветитьWhat about sigma sport 60-600 f/4.5_6.3 ?
ОтветитьI'd like to see the OM-D EM1-MKIII and the Nikon Z6II added to part 2.
ОтветитьAs much work as it might put on you guys, I'd love to see you do an updated review of budget wildlife lenses in 2024
ОтветитьThis was an absolutely amazing video. I'm trying to select my first grown up camera and I really want to get into wildlife photography. The problem is that pair of body and lenses...among DSLR or Mirrorless, but that's another subject. This last few minutes of this video has helped me figure how to pair things. I am starting this journey, but I don't want to start at the beginning. I'd like to invest in something that will allow me to expand and grow. What you did here with the body and lenses at price points really really helped!! Thank you both so much!
ОтветитьGreat info. It helps me decide which lens would suit me. )By the way, you say you are hot. Simple solution…don’t wear black!…free advice from a desert-dweller….😅)
ОтветитьPlease delete the beeps when you add second and third screen shots. Had me checking all my indoor fire alarms for dead batteries.
ОтветитьGet Simon D'Entremont on
ОтветитьWhen you are talking about the Sigma C 150 - 600 lens, you are holding the Tamron 150 - 600 in your hands... Both are similar and have similar performance, so there is no big mistake. Regards.
ОтветитьSo funny how am always interested in watching reviews for lenses I can’t even afford because photography is my hobby 😢😢😢😢
Ответитьgreat video ! anything changed in these 2 years ?
ОтветитьHello, i'm thinking of buying the Canon RF 800mm f/11. You recommended it for the R5 or R6. But i got an R7. What would be the drawbacks? Thanks
ОтветитьChelsea how do you deal with the 800mm f/11 in low light? How bad is higher ISO images with the lens on a R6 body?
ОтветитьI know this video is older but I have a Sony A6100 camera so nowhere near the top of the line. I have a trip to India where I plan to take some pictures of wildlife and just wanted to know if my camera would hold up with these lenses? Also a lot of these were canon is that better for shoot wildlife?
ОтветитьNice one, although I still cant imagine an f11 lens for wildlife photography, but I've not tried it. I'm pretty excited for the upcoming Nikon Z 100-400 & 200-600. If the F 200-500 topped your list, the Z versions should be impressive indeed. We just need a D500 equivalent to go with them.
ОтветитьThank you for your efforts it is appreciated it has stopped me from buying the wrong lens and paying more for it
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI shoot with the Nikon 200-500 and absolutely love it
ОтветитьCould you please gift me used oldone
ОтветитьU were talking about sigma 150-600 contemporary lens but showing/demonstrating the tamron lens thats in your hands?? I am a bit confused.
ОтветитьThanks! =)
ОтветитьChelsea and Tony / Super helpful video. Thanks for taking the time for putting this together. I was wondering if you could recommend a good zoom telephoto lens for a Nikon D3400 DSLR F mount / we’ll be shooting distant wildlife like whales and bears and glaciers in Alaska. We’d like to stay under $1500 if possible and keep in mind that we were just beginners. Many thanks.
ОтветитьI have the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary paired with my Canon 90D. Couldn't be happier with the results !!
ОтветитьI've already purchased the canon r7 and was wondering if the the rf800 lens would still be worth buying for my camera or is there another lens better suited?
ОтветитьSomething nice. Hair.
