The perfect hit is almost always fast and soft. Counterintuitive as that may be, it is worth the effort to discover that hit. Beyond that, of the tips Ms. Lee gives here, perhaps the most important is given almost the least emphasis, which is to "find the smallest target". That advice won't make as much sense as you think until you quit playing 8 ball and 9 ball. Anyways, great series so far - something for everyone, from beginner to advanced. Thanks.
Ответитьdamn i just joined an apa 9-ball league...it'd be a dream come true if Jeanette was actually there one day to whoop my ass haha...great advice though, i realized during this video that when i start missing shots and getting frustrated, i forget to just let gravity and physics do the work.
ОтветитьHaha.... "pause, child falls, you get sued..."
ОтветитьI do not have any children nor do I plan on pushing any on a swing. However, I do understand the thought process.
ОтветитьThis would have to be the best brake down on stroking I've ever seen.
Thanks
Thank You.
ОтветитьWhy is this playlist in reverse order? Wish they would rearrange it.
ОтветитьI needed that!
ОтветитьI think it needs a good gripping tecnique to work on that kind of stroke. Cradling tecnique is not effective.
Ответитьshe can stroke my pool stick
ОтветитьThanks for the video Jeanette! The swing analogy was a bit strange though LOL. I noticed you elevate your cue stick a few inches off the table. Is there a reason for this? Most teachers say to keep it as level as possible to avoid any unintentional swerve.
Ответитьfail to focus... coz shes georgeus :p
ОтветитьThis applies to bowling too,, no doubt!
ОтветитьJeanette Lee, to me, has to be the best female pool player ever. I think of a good player as to, not only play well but entertains the audience as well. One thing none of the pros have added to the lessons pertaining to the stroke is holding the butt like you're holding a sparrow; very delicate. Always wondered why that's never mentioned.
ОтветитьSuch a simple, straightforward explanation of the fundamental stroke. If I can remember to keep this down to "simple", no doubt it will help. And I'll couple it with a simple hint I heard from another coach: he suggested that the last thought you allow through your mind is to ask yourself, "is my grip relaxed, and primarily in my thumb and index?"
I hope Jeanette and her family can cope with the dire diagnosis she recently received from the doctors. She's only 49 - and facing the trial of her life.
Jeannette thank you!
ОтветитьThis should be titled “3 minutes of an analogy, and one drill.” Nothing on how to set up, nothing on where the cue should be in relation to your chin or chest, nothing on how to grip the cue. Other than that, way to go black widow!
ОтветитьThe backswing in bowling does not need a slow backswing; as long as you are releasing under your head, you are good.
ОтветитьThanks to the beautiful jeanette
ОтветитьThe best explenation ever hows stroke
ОтветитьLove you
Ответитьfinally.. a woman who can voice the perfect stroke
