Soundblaster, Monster 3Dfx, 286, 486, Pentium, MMX. Random words for some, memories for me. I subbed quite recently to your channel. Really like your enthusiasm towards old skool pc's. First pc I ever got was a 286. Been abscent to pc's quite a while until recently. I've been back to PC gaming for a year now and I'm loving it! Keep the videos coming man!

That looks just like the machine I had 15 or so years ago! But it was a Unisys! Also available in a Pentium version. I've never heard of Leo, so could it be a re-branded Unisys CWD? Mine had a single riser slot and also VGA and Ethernet on-board together with two PS/2 ports.I had an AWE64 in it because of the size restrictions.

Aren't OEM machines just PC/AT clones?

Regarding not being able to connect a CD-ROM drive...there actually do exist older CD-ROM drives that connect via the parallel port. They're slower than a slug stuck in molasses, but they work. Just search on eBay for "Backpack Bantam" and you can find them fairly cheap.

Some people call my Pentium 3 Katmai a piece of shit and tell me to throw it out, my dad is luckily not one of them.

You could install a larger hard drive, maybe with the help of a dynamic drive overlay (if needed), put some ISOs on there, mount them with SHSUCDHD (in DOS) and enjoy cd-games without a cd-rom drive.
Only thing that won't work is cd-audio. That would require a real cd-rom drive and an audio cable to your sound card.
But most games of the past do also provide midi music. So you can keep your awesome little machine untouched and enjoy Realms Of The Haunting on it. Awesome video, really enjoyed it ! :)

I must say that yes I totally agree with your comments on the interface used in Microsoft Office 4.3. I sometimes teach basic IT skills to folk voluntarily and the ribbon interface can really confuse my students! That said it could just be me being a terrible teacher.

I've got this machine, but with a "Liberty" brand. Just installed the most recent Linux kernel and Gentoo version on it. The sound card is a ES Audiodrive which has a IDE CDROM interface, but I haven't tried that yet. What I did try, but failed, was to replace the current 160Gb HDD by a 240Gb SSD using the IDE2SAT2 adapter from Startech. The Liberty goes "hard disk(s) fail (20)" after a while, although the bios automatic detection seems to recognize something. Your video was all I managed to find on the internet aboiut this pearl. I'm quite sure there used to be more, since I already put Linux on it a couple of decades ago.
