is this the updated mat your currently using?
ОтветитьDo you have the link to the 12' one?
ОтветитьDoes it leave the "green range marks on the bottom of your club"?
ОтветитьAre you able to putt on that turf? Have you tried?
ОтветитьGreat Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
ОтветитьAfter a year of testing this, have you changed your mind on making it any differently? Any changes you can recommend ? Do you still think it’s better than the divot strips on the market?
ОтветитьDo you not use the foam strips underneath anymore?
ОтветитьSo I have a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 1” this hitting mat that has caused me to have wrist pain because 1. I am too steep into the ball and take big divots on the course and 2. The mat is in an in heated hangar and with cold winter temps it is very hard. Curious if you think cutting out a hitting strip and adding the soft foam under it would be a good solution.
ОтветитьFeel dumb asking this but what actually are you accomplishing with just the polycarbonate board? The divot action one made sense to me with the foam underneath but I don’t see whats the point of just glueing on the polycarb
ОтветитьHello I really enjoy your content! Just wondering what are your thoughts on combining this solution with your DIY divot action solution. I don't have a big stance area so it will not be too hard to raise my stance mat along with the divot action. Do you think it will be a bit overkill?
ОтветитьDid you go with the Tee Line Turf for all
Your turf? Or was it just for the insert?
Do you have an extra strip you can sell me?
ОтветитьYeah I cant find any good mats for outside. I can bring back inside for storage. There is nithing for a reasonable price and this company only sells the 12x10 which is $600 I can't afford that.
ОтветитьAnybody want to split a min order (12’ x 10’) a couple ways? 3 people and you get a 4’x10’ for $200. Not too bad
ОтветитьWhat specific turf product is this? There are many on their site
ОтветитьYou like this one better than the divot simulating one you built?
ОтветитьSays minimum 12’ x 10’. How did you get a 12” strip?
ОтветитьThis is a 3 minute video and what seems like every other or so have questions that you answered in the video. Like, come on, ppl. It's 3 minutes. How bad is your attention span that you can't watch and pay attention? Its hiliarious but equally as sad!
And its a min order of $600! $5 per sq ft. Your screwed if you only need enough for a 8x4 and you're doubly screwed if you need for a full sim since it's twice the cost of most of their other options on the site.
great video...just wondering if i used the same turf, what would your recommendation if building a driving range type? or maybe you have a video how to build a hitting mat?
ОтветитьGreat content! I’m trying to set up a sim in my garage. I put a 1 inch gym floor down. Couple of questions:
1. What turf did you lay over the whole floor?
2. Would I need the polycarbonate or could I just cut a place for the 1 inch hitting turf into the gym floor?
Thanks!
I have had a soft strike for 3 seasons. As you have said, not bad. I replaced the strip last year but it limits the hitting area and wear occurs pretty quickly in the same spot. Question. Would you have any concerns using the 12 x 5 piece as a stance mat? I would then match my strike area to my LM read zone. Thoughts? Great video. Thanks!
ОтветитьHow do you have the hitting strip level (same height) as the turf when you've added a sheet of polycarbonate? Or is it not leveled and slightly higher?
ОтветитьWish I had seen this before I ordered one from Carl's
Ответитьwhy did you not put green side up?
ОтветитьWhere did you get the polycarbonate sheet and how thick is it?
ОтветитьHow long have you been using this?
Doesn't hurt your joints?
Tia
What did glueing the polycarbonate to the bottom of it help with? Longevity? Or just shimming it up? Thanks! Is it forgiving enough, how would you compare it to the divot action/holy grail forgiveness?
ОтветитьThere’s like 12 types of turf in that link. Which one did you go with?
ОтветитьThe total cost to make one Mat was $100 if you don't count the extra turf.
