What other tiling jobs would you like to see in the future?
ОтветитьWhy don't you take the floor tiles under the bath?
ОтветитьThankz mate. Sick tattoos also.
ОтветитьWater insulation? And is there a drop on one side to drain?
ОтветитьTerrific video! Thank you
ОтветитьDon't teach pple how to tile, then i won't have work lol
ОтветитьThat wasn’t even close to full coverage on that first tile lol
ОтветитьAdeesive
ОтветитьNice job but the bridges didnt collapse you need to move and press the tile the opposite directions of the bridges
ОтветитьHey mate, looks good, nice work. Do you use the spacers when you do the dry lay? Also, when you are deciding the layout for the width, if you move the centre line with the tiles, doesn't this then also impact the layout positions in the doorway? Cheers
Ответитьno floor waste and no waterproofing?
Ответитьgod bless you mate, I feel alot more confident now after watching this video.
ОтветитьI'm watching because I start a tiling course on the 18th March and I really wanna be able to get the standard of the finish as high as possible before going live. I will f up my own kitchen a couple times first as well! But, really appreciate all your tips, I've been making lists as I go of things to buy and things to avoid, as well as the tips you give. Hopefully I can get good quick. I am somewhat obsessive over anything that I bother to put my time into so I know I'll be back to watch more videos again and again, so I'm subbing! Thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you.
And ahhhhh… shout out to the smashed thumbnail of experience. Been there mate. 👍🏼
Very nice❤
ОтветитьDoes there need to be a bit of gap between the tile and the wall?
ОтветитьManaged to achieve a pro level finish with the assistance of your tutorial. Many thanks!
Ответитьreally helpful thankyou!! I'm ripping my bathroom out in two weeks wish me luck haha 😅
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial. Very well edited!
ОтветитьThanks for the great tutorial. I am buying a fixer-upper in the next month or two here, and I am hoping to do as much work as I can myself to save on some costs. This video is definitely going to help me with the tiling I plan on doing.
ОтветитьWhat about grout sealer. Isn't that really necessary. I read somewhere that it will prevent dirt from getting stuck on the tile joints where the grout went. Great video by the way.
ОтветитьQuick and concise video, clearly speaking to layout well for me to follow and implement. Kept wanting to hear something about a ‘Blok’ or a Guinness though 🍀
ОтветитьNever really thought about the water until you mentioned it, but definitely makes sense though, in the high desert in California we have very hard mineral rich water, it clogs up the swamp cooler pads pretty quickly, and is a very hard white substance that turns to powder.
ОтветитьIs it essential to tank the floor/ shower wall before fitting tiles?
ОтветитьBravo !
ОтветитьOmg I wish I was that floor.
Ответитьdon't line up your lines
ОтветитьWhen tiling the floor and walls, what should you do first? I find lots of contradicting info online about which you should do first.
ОтветитьThat's a Norfolk accent if ever i have heard one.
Made me feel right at home 👌
Where's the slope?
Ответитьgreat video thanks brother
Ответить🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
ОтветитьWhat is the product that is on the walls here. You referred to it as "fiber board"?
ОтветитьTop tip: mark around them with a pencil/marker and then you know exactly where they go back.
ОтветитьIt might look easy for you. I guarantee if I do it, I’ll fuck it up.
ОтветитьNice job. I could see the dip that you also noticed afterwards. I had the same in my en-suite of a similar size. Is there any product that TRULY self-level though without any manual assistance?
ОтветитьWhere’s the waterproofing mate
ОтветитьFor the water. Reckon using a water filter would work 🤔
ОтветитьIn a small room especially a long narrow area the tiles should run the width, not length. That visually widens the room not narrowing it.
A real professional would have advised a client of that. I do.
Sorry but you get 👎 and not recommended!!!😪😪
That’s a really nice looking job, your how to certainly gives me enough confidence to do that myself 👍👍
ОтветитьFirst time tiling and grouting a bathroom floor... Excellent results due to this video! Awesome stuff. I thank you.
ОтветитьGood demo. You can clean your paddle mixer right after you finish mixing the mud/adhesive. You just need another bucket of water and place the mixer in it and run it for a minute and you get a clean mixer for the next batch of mud/adhesive or grout. Just be careful where you dumb your wash water or let it decant and pour the water off later.
ОтветитьYou are a gem honestly
ОтветитьFantastic video once again!
ОтветитьLoving that you used colour matched silicone, so many times I’ve had to argue with tilers who want to use white. Although I also like to get them to grout the corners then I go over with clear.
ОтветитьHow much space do you leave between the walls and the tiles for the sillicone to allow for movement?
ОтветитьVery good tutorial! Thank you
ОтветитьGreat video! direct and to the point no time wasted : )
ОтветитьAmazing Video! You make it look so easy! Thanks for posting. This has inspired me to do some of my own tile work now 😃
Ответитьhi what did you put down first over the floor boards
Ответить
