Are they like robinhood where I trader and then the money comes directly out of your checking account? Do you have to transfer money first, then trade? Can you give me some clarity on this? Can you sell a fractional share?

I’m so excited I just set up my slice account today, my 2021 goal for a little passive income for my future. Just doing $50 to give it a try and learn.

Question: If many, or maybe most, brokerages now offer fractional shares, then is there any point to companies doing stock splits anymore?

you ladies had mentioned "ETF's" Unfortunately, etf's can't be bought via fractional shares from what i can tell, only the 505 stocks on the s&p! Schwab has some truly outstanding ETFs!! shame that they can't be fractionally bought.
