ОтветитьThis should be on every screen in this country. Great work PBS
Ответитьmake sure everyone sees this
Ответить1 day ago - under 7k views…..how?
ОтветитьGoogle is 1000% suppressing this video. 1 million + subs and this has 6k views
ОтветитьIF you believe Rights can be bestowed based on who is office, then you do NOT believe those Rights are "GUARANTEED"...
But instead you believe that Rights are capricious and arbitrary.
IF you believe that one power can take away Rights and another can restore them...
The you do NOT believe those Rights are "INALIENABLE" !
Listen to them...
They HOPE Rights can be restored.
THERE ARE NO GUARANTEED INALIENABLE RIGHTS, ANYMORE!
Love these. A must watch!
ОтветитьPlease do more of these!! They are extremely interesting
ОтветитьA PBS that allows comments?
ОтветитьThey idea that any author of Project 2025 would be taken seriously after the events of the last three months is kind of laughable, honestly.
ОтветитьThe President swore an oath to the Constitution, not the people who voted for him: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." The mandate is from the Constitution, not the voters.
ОтветитьAt this point, I think the correct answer is "Any". We're past the need of a President, it's time we abolished it.
ОтветитьI sensed a smugness on some of the more Trumpian panelists. They will take away nothing from this exercise. I would like to hear from the right on their perceptions of this show.
IMO
This was awesome, thank you!
ОтветитьAn EXCERSIZE IN FUTILITY. Lesly Stahl was the only one in reality on the panel she doesn't see any hope. This looked like a debate for a run in 2028. There is no hope for the people to make a SOUND decision when they are lied to and used. Include the people of your fictional town to have a say like Tennessee Brando, Joe Rogan, Midas Touch etc.
ОтветитьYou can't go home again once the rabbit hole, Pandora Box is open, all will want to take a bite of the apple aka exec power
Once said ‘Never interfere with an enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself.’ - Napoleon Bonaparte, when told
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we lose our freedoms it will be because we have destroyed ourselves from within" - Abraham Lincoln.
I appreciate the gravitas bc this time demands it. Now I have ideas and questions about how you're going to reform elections and by that I mean getting $ out from lobbying, and how you're going to introduce term limits for Congress, and legislation for budget, paying debt, and deficit and media should not be dictating elections winners bc they can buy advertising and how everyone will work together to weed out the bought and paid for candidates being "trained" for office!!!
ОтветитьY does this send chills down my spine
ОтветитьIncredibly well done! Thank you PBS! Everyone should see this!😊
ОтветитьI imagine Middlevania has developed the program of Farmer production overage for decades to ensure food security. Using excesses for soft power programs that were carefully designed to utilize and subsidize the effort. President Powerton should have advisors reminding of possible future events that may cause food shortages if redundancies are removed.
ОтветитьThis is so great!
ОтветитьSpeechless! Best idea, amazingly created, best guests selection for the first episode, amazingly executed! Thankful for PBS everyday
ОтветитьVery impressed with this show. Excellent job! I'm conducting workshops on the federal government / Constitution and will definitely recommend this on the Resource list.
ОтветитьEveryone in America should see this.
ОтветитьI happened to browse channels and came across this on local channel PBS. I don't understand this debate or what is it about? Is it based on real issues going on or is it a role play? It reminded me of my junior Highschool years in civic history class debate. But who knows what this is about another political debate
ОтветитьThat was interesting 🤔 anyway, not bad. I'll watch another one.
ОтветитьI learned a lot thanks for the vid
ОтветитьI'm not so positive about our democracy, as was talked about. I think people have a long memory. With race and gender being such a debate, the people that speak for anyone will still hold power to money. Money is the true motivator. People can be spiteful and vengeful. Hense our current administraton. Politics is a death match, not just a game of yes and no's but more about peoples' livelihood. The most pointent commment I can make is this; Yes, people voted for a president to get things done. But it is up to the congress and the reprentatives and all the civic minded individuals as to "HOW" it GETs done. People may vote for a racist president. But that doesn't mean we revert back to slavery. At the same instance, people may vote to repress and strict another parties views. But that doesn't me we shut down our whole system of government. I highly doubt, the democracy when knew yesturday will NOT be here next time around. It will be..
ОтветитьAaron Tang, my new hero. Brilliant! Thanks.
ОтветитьI don't have enough thumbs to put up.
ОтветитьWhen we start properly educating the people, then we will start electing leaders with the proper character and moral compass to form a more perfect union.
ОтветитьThis show was fantastic
ОтветитьExcellent. More like this.
ОтветитьThis is like dungeons and dragons but for government!🔥🔥🔥
