This is probably my favorite fight in terms of narrative, the clashing of exact opposite of ideologies but both having qualities of a king, gear 4 introduction is elite if not spoiled for you, the final clash with the music is epic, just unfortunate the pacing is bad, but if one pace is as good as it is being shown then we are eating great

Anytime your new to a series I always recommend watching the sub first. English dub changes alot of words n way things are said. "Gear fourth!" In a badass angry tone to some wimpy sounding "fourth gear" just as an example.

Sage I think you failed to understand why King Riki’s speech was important. Majority of them didn’t know that Luffy is fighting Doffy so alot of them just see this as an inevitable execution and no reason to run. It’s kinda like if huge meteor came to destroy earth. Alot of people wouldn’t run and just accept their fate. His speech gave them hope to try and survive.
