It feels...misleading. For a duel, OK, maybe, but in battle -- you can't be that cautious. You have other enemies to worry about besides the one in front of you.
ОтветитьIt s a beatiful sport love it,women would be straight on to it,not sure, don t know nothing about this but would be great to try it,or? 🙈🤭😉
ОтветитьI'm impressed that 4 waiters from a local restaurant seem to be controlling this punch up.
Ответитьmordhau prohibited in this sport I guess?
ОтветитьI have done Olympic fencing and played an SCA weekend (and a bunch of other stuff that might be relevant here) but my question is: Why do they hold their guards so low? Are the weapons full-weight or some nonsense like Olympic sabre?
Is gravity not your friend?
Now that it's over I realize the guy in blue is 'red' and the guy in orange is 'blue'.
Ответитьreal gentlemen would faint at the of blood not a very popoular sport
ОтветитьI stopped watching after two minutes of nothing. I think that no one wants to fight unless he is on purpose to kill.
ОтветитьEven the comments are boring 😂
ОтветитьFlimsy lightweight swords, doubt they fought like that long ago
ОтветитьYaawn.
ОтветитьI part Morris dancing, 4 parts homicidal insanity, lol.
ОтветитьWhy is the judge using a Spear?
Ответитьthank you . ( 2025 / Jan / 24 )
ОтветитьInteresting to also look at Kendo fight where they use a two hand grip as well with totally different stance and footwork...
ОтветитьThat was quite cool, I enjoyed that, i hope i can learn some longsword somtime, cos i only do olympic fencing. Tho it does make me think that people who say that fencing is bad because it is always over too quickly and is unrealisitc dont know shit, because half of these bouts did nothing but look for openings and actualy do little for most of it (like olympic fencing) and then do a single very quick clash that determines the point (like olympic fencing).
ОтветитьThe guy in orange is Dutch. No idea where the other guy came from.
ОтветитьWhy are they using English?
ОтветитьCrazy how fast you can have your guts split open or a limb chopped off.
ОтветитьI wish this was filmed better, with slo-mos, repeats, and multiple angles. Maybe a little commentary to help me learn the rules.
ОтветитьYou can see how sword fighting was probably very careful, but that one moment was fast and as brutal as can be. When one overcame the other, there was time for a killing strike.
Glad I was born in the time of guns.
Anyone just here because they just searched up 'sword fighting'?
ОтветитьBest sport ever
Ответитьbro with the stick was annoying, like back offffffff
ОтветитьI literally skipped through the video to find where it starts. Never in my life of combat sports have I seen damn near nothing happen for almost 2 minutes. No flame to these guys, thats a lot of time to waste though
Ответитьya comance la maldita naranja
Ответитьthose judges at the sides with their little flags, looking down for some reason when need to raise them. The referee with the stick, like it would make a difference. It's all so geeky lol🤣
ОтветитьI know that this is tournament style, akin to fencing etc, but just to imagine people spending so much time on the defensive, squaring off like this in a battle scenario is funny to me.
ОтветитьCompetitive circling
ОтветитьA butchers boy who wants to be a knight eh.
ОтветитьWhat sport isthis
ОтветитьNow, let us gingerly touch our tips 😂
ОтветитьThis is more interesting and tense than two dudes in plate armor just endlessly wacking each other
ОтветитьWhy is in English if it's the Norway Open?
ОтветитьLooks lame
ОтветитьHow childish, throwing ones sword, referee having to pick it up….
ОтветитьWhat are the rules concerning swinging the sword hard and fast? Like baseball bat style swings? Is it totally forbidden? Seems like a lot of fleche types cuts are what these guys practice. But what about crushing each other? Seems like it wouldn't work without armor to swing these blades as hard as possible.
ОтветитьLong winters in Norway ……..
ОтветитьRed get your point up and on line
Notice how he's forcing you to react, and then you have to make a swipe at his sword and follow it with a cut every time you ckose, and all he has to do is crouch or step back and extend his reach to get in a quick thrust?
You could solve all that by not pretending to be a Ninja, Mind, Yer, Tip, Boi
did red just bend a sword.???
Ответить"sir, your mother is a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries".
ОтветитьI don't get it. So it's pretty much fencing and has nothing to do with fighting? Fun sport I suppose.
ОтветитьWatching two very skilled people playing cat and mouse is boring. That's why I never liked the upper tier ultimate fighting. I prefer less skilled folks just going at each other.
ОтветитьGood match
Ответитьbruh i wanted to see some action wtf this
