I will be real that playing spiritborn and then only going throw the campain and some early grinding does not represent D4 at all then Spiritborn is so busted right now that you dont need any gear to basicly run throw everything . Then there is the reality that after you went throw the early parts all the problems come to light . You basicly did what 90% of reviewers do play the story and some early grind were everything is ranbow and roses

Man... was really hoping you picked any other class... Spiritborn is fun for sure but I was curious what a new players perspective of the game would be from a non-spiritborn point of view.

Interesting newcomer take on this game.
I played since the beginning and yet, I've found no reason to play past the story.
Every class is the same to me; They're mages.
The barbarian is a melee mage that uses a "mana" called fury produced by hitting things and that quickly drains if they haven't hit anything recently, the barb uses cooldowns and/or fury to cast their spells.
The rogue is a ranged trapper mage that uses a "mana" called energy produced by hitting things, the rogue uses cooldowns and/or energy to cast their spells.

The druid is a partial summoner mage that uses a "mana" called spirit produced by hitting things, the druid uses cooldowns and/or spirit to cast their spells.
The necromancer is a summoner mage that uses a "mana" called essence produced by hitting things, the druid uses cooldowns and/or essence to cast their spells.
The sorcerer is a classic elemental mage that uses a mana produced by hitting things that also regenerates over time, the sorcerer uses cooldowns and/or mana to cast their spells.

I find it very unappealing that the classes don't feel unique.

My girlfriend and I have put over 100 hours since we got this in February, we’re super casual gamers and we just think the game is really fun regardless of all the hate. We’re loving the spiritborn class!

If you're looking for MMO/Arpg games to try out, you could do worse than to check out Warframe.

I find it hilarious that this positive review from a fresh and unbiased perspective still features a comment section full of people expressing their utter disdain for Diablo 4. Dont you guys have anything better to do? Its ok that you hate it, but why does the fact that other people enjoy it make you so angry? I dont like Nickelback. In fact i hate their music but i dont go find videos about them and comment how much I hate them. What is with this strange obsession with telling people how stupid they are for enjoying something you hate?

A tip: You can enable advanced items stats, making it visible how your rolls on items are and when comparing items it shows how your stats will differ if you switch gear

Diablo Immortal was actually really successful and popular, it made bucket loads of money and had over 10mil downloads on Day One. Doesn't take away from the fact it's quite predatory and the reaction to in especially in the west was not good.

Tip : change your mouse buttons and rebind them to your keyboard, it makes clicking less intesive for your hand and gives easy access to all skills, also you can unlock your skills bar to move any skill anywhere.

Quick correction. Diablo Immortal was/is incredibly popular. Gaming media might of kicked up a stink about it, but the world at large likes it.

Just one thing: Diablo 4 is NOT a game with ''many'' different bosses and they don't have ''many'' different mechanics. Bosses are a bigger version of regular mobs but with larger size and the mechanics (among all) aren't more than 10. You also don't have to avoid them unless you are in the very late game wearing early game gear.

Warning you will be flooded with messages that love the other ARPGs saying D4 is bad because just like MMOs they take up so much time that most people only have time for one. And for some reason they feel the need to tell you your opinion is wrong because it is not the same as theirs. And they don't want to feel like they are wasting their time on the "wrong" ARPG. Jokes on them videogames are a waste of time as a whole when you think about it, but they can be a fun waste of time. Glad your enjoying D4! I like it too! Good video! :)

I've been enjoying D4 for the past year+ (got it on release).
But, I've already put 100's of hours into Grim Dawn, Titan Quest, Diablo 2, Path of Exile, Diablo 3...
The long and short of it is: It's great they keep improving it, but it's also obnoxious. If you don't play for a few months and come back, everything is different, for example. A lot that's done seems to be in service of "the meta" and streamers/YTers too. Paid power players, not casual players.

oh you sweet summer child. you started with the brokenly overpowered spiritborn. poor you. every other class, and every season after this one, will feel like trash, because blizz f'd up and made the spiritborn WAY TOO STRONG. rip. your experience is extremely biased because of this btw. not like "you have a bias you won't acknowledge" but more like "you didn't actually experience the game, because you played a class that, no joke, is ONE MILLION TIMES stronger than the other classes"

D4 is good

for leveling 1 - 60, blade dancer rogue is much faster.

If you enjoyed this you need to go back to Diablo 2. Get Diablo 2 Resurrected and give that a shot. You shouldn't be disappointed

Question because I’m super new also I played Diablo 4 when it first came out then I got busy with other games lol but then came back now to it again when the dlc dropped but still trying to figure out how to unlock the greyed out tabs on each of my vendors like occultist and blacksmith and especially jewler to be able to upgrade my equipment and I finished the campaign and level 53 I believe so not sure what doing wrong or if game is just broken and have to reset everything to maybe let the game reset itself or not sure if have to be passed level 60 and it unlocks everything 😅

the weird thing is I loved this game but i just can't get people to play it with me so i only play it for a month every season, if that. wish it were more but i'm a very social person.

If you're looking at other ARPGs then I'll gladly recommend Last Epoch.

I'm not sure if you'd want to stick to online ARPGs such as Diablo 4 or Lost Ark, but as someone who's played plenty of ARPGs throughout my life, Grim Dawn has been pretty good. I've also heard good things about Last Epoch, however I haven't checked it out myself. Thanks for the video Waydot, your uploads are always appreciated!

Just wisjed arpg's eternal realms had the season board as well. wouldn't hurt anyone, those who wana keep restarting could still pkay seasonal whiel those who dont wana keep restarting could experience season as well
