No offense but I don't agree with the use of the term teutonic in this video. I find incredibly annoying how terms referring to the Germanic ethnic group are used to denote negative qualities. teutonic, Germanic, nordic, Scandinavian, etc. All used to denote something unimaginative and uninspired, an "austere" design. That's a negative stereotype imo with no real basis in reality or history

Germany specially, with their highly advanced metallurgy and production technology, have produced a lot of beautiful artistic stuff, Specially in the 17th, 18th century, from music instruments to sculptures and everything in between.
Plus a lot of the population of countries like France, Italy, Switzerland, England, etc. are ethnically Germanic, so yeah it's a stereotype

I love to see different designs like that Cartier or that VC, thinking outside the box, imagination is something that bumps every industry

I have been watching your videos for almost 2 years. Love your content, how informative it is. Your voice is cool as well. However today’s video was very annoying due to the screen popping up advertising your Spotify and various endeavors. You popped it up like 30 times if not more. 2 times would have sufficed.

As ever, an expert resume and thoughtful curation. Chopards nice. Shame not more of them out there: 25?. Sorry to hear of JLC QC issues - tricky, I know, but maybe a subject to justify or elaborate on? Personally, I fear for all Richemont brands - margin margin margin... Either form price gouge or QC drop. While Swatch justifies criticism in many ways, it's brands do uphold very high build quality in my experience (Swatch, Hamilton, Longines, Omega).

Please stop putting this ad about the podcast, it is extremely annyoing...

What did I miss about JLC not being quality anymore? You state that as fact but yet no real explanation about why? I would like to to know why?

Or you can attach a long strap to the Cartier and wear it on your head like a crown, with its cabochon crown pointing up. That way people only need to look at your head to see what time it is.

LOVE the Nomos offerings! They're so much fun!!! And of course, Cartier and Vacheron totally kill it, though you nearly have to be a billionaire to afford the latter. Piaget and Chopard are rrelevant, I'm afraid. Do people actually buy Piaget watches anymore? I don't see why they would when you can get a Moser or Grand Seiko for about the same price or less.
