This is going to sound horrible but how can you tell a kid whose life is ending from cancer before it’s even started that god loves them, I just don’t get it. Some kids spend their whole life in hospital because of cancer and they never got to go to school and make friends, celebrate their birthdays outside of hospital, never got to have a sleepover at a friends place, just stop and think about everything that some young kids never got to do because of cancer and you are supposed to tell them that god loves them

This was very hard to watch .....the thought of losing my wife (she's still alive and well) makes me think how we all take our partner's for granted .
Give your wife or husband a hug and tell them three words "i love you " .....go on you know it makes sence .

Mr. Ricky Gervais, I know you Stated that you don't like being involved in more than 2 seasons of a show. I applaud you for doing the third season..It is fucking brilliant and may I ask you to do just one more, sir, please?
One of the most profound series I've ever watched. Unfortunately, for men most of us don't find out until our mid-thirties The difference in knowing and understanding.. listening and hearing. The show is right up there with "Good Times". "All in the Family"... "The Carmichael show" "This is us." And the first 3 seasons of Blue Bloods.

Its shows like this that deals with and debates Real life issues in a honest intelligent manner, with some dark humor thrown in to pull you out of the sadness Before you get something in your eyes and they start leaking "You know what I mean fellas, just kidding it ok to cry".
It's brilliantly written. The actors fantastic.

I don't think I can stand another series created by a Corporate Puke that is whitewashed,watered down and unrealistic. So take those blinders off people and question everything. Otherwise we're gonna keep getting fed Crap sandwiches by these lobbyist and corporations. Also, Everyone makes sure you hug your loved ones and tell them that you love them every single day. If you can't do it in person, do a video chat or a phone call .. not through text.

His series saved me from the ultimate depths of despair! After life raised me up at the most difficult time of my life.. otherwise I probably wouldn’t be here now!

All I wanted, was to love someone so much that I’d miss them like this. Guess that just wasn’t the plan.

I love that speech about angels. It’s so true. We’re all suffering and scared, so be nice. It doesn’t cost a penny, but everyone can do it everyday. I know it sounds corny, but it’s an attitude you can apply to even serious scenarios. Family, friends and health are all that matter in life, everything else is just white noise.

This is rather mean, concentrated emotion....

For anyone who thinks Ricky Gervais is just a loud mouth comic who can be rude or just brings us comedy as he did with "The Office", this video & every scene in "After Life" is who he is as well. The writer, the actor & producer of this show. And in every scene where he showed his heart-like the one with the children- RG was heartbreakingly beautiful. He is an unbelievably talented eloquent man.

The way Lenny looks at Tony during the interactions with the kids is so touching.

This show has so much heart and truth. Ricky is one of the great actors of our time. He gets almost no credit for it. Watching this show is an emotional rollercoaster. Great characters, great story. One of my all time favorites.

The bit with the little girl with cancer got me. My wife is a children’s end of life nurse and showing that this goes on was very moving.

I still say... the most IMPORTANT thing I've watched. I'm still angry, but the hate has subsided. Thanks man
