I need do it too
ОтветитьYou missed ZCLAW in sedona , the best claw machine arcade in Az.
ОтветитьNot sure if you noticed the abandoned mall in the area, but the abandoned mall that will soon be demolished is Metrocenter, which was used as a filming location for Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. They filmed the movie here, and another filming location is Golfland in Mesa (the water park in the movie), which is a sister location of Castles n Coasters
ОтветитьI used to supervise here back in 2019 and man the changes they made within 5 years is insane. Kudos to them
ОтветитьI hope you guys hit up Starfighters while you were in town.
ОтветитьSo sad that metro center has been defunct; too much internet shopping and crime. Stay out of there after dark cuz it's like New Jack City
ОтветитьMan, I hope they didn't get rid of Tron, Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp, and Gauntlet. Those were my go-to games at that place.
ОтветитьGlad to see Castles n Coasters getting some love. Been a fan since the 80s
ОтветитьWow, they did all those old machines dirty by displaying in 16:9
ОтветитьAdding credit cards slots
To arcade classic is a sin
Sad that there are no CRT’s and it’s all wide screen LCD panels in the cabs though. Overall the location seems fun!
ОтветитьI just took my kids on Saturday. We played the centipede game some ninja turtles and Jurassic park it was fun been going for years since I was a kid and to take my children is a cool feeling. Take care thanks for the video.
ОтветитьWow! It's changed quite a bit. It was better before when the inner ring was all pinball machines. And it should still be 😁
ОтветитьI went a few years ago to play Robotron, but now I can sideload it to my Meta Quest 3.
ОтветитьMy dad took my son and me to that place a few times before he passed away.
ОтветитьCastles and coasters was always one of the best, it was called gold and stuff before but the entire downstairs would be all the new games and upstairs were all the older games, it was a huge collection. Across at metro had one even bigger at one point but that was back in the 90s.
ОтветитьIt's still Golf N Stuff to me. Damn I'm old.
ОтветитьSpent gobs of time here in the 80s. Looks the same. Cabinets are different but what a time warp.
ОтветитьI used to go here back in the day to play arcade games or Arrowhead mall back when it had a arcade arena miss those days 😞 is the go kart racing 🏎️ still there?
ОтветитьAwww man, I was just in Phoenix like 7 weeks ago and had 8 hours to kill. I did not run across this place BUT I did run across Cobra Arcade Bar in downtown, not too far from the airport. Awesome little bar with probably 30 classic cabinets. I have to head back out there in January so I will definitely hit up Cobra and CnC.
ОтветитьI miss the old shooting gallery 😢
ОтветитьI used to play here in 2007, most of the upstairs was 90s games. The fighting game selection was top shelf. One of the best arcades I’d ever been to, and I’ve been to literally 100+
ОтветитьAh the memories Had all my last day of school couple of days of this place it was amazing we even went to the mall 🎉
ОтветитьNot to be rude but does your camera have motion blur correction feature on it....
ОтветитьAwesome! I like the rides too
ОтветитьBeen watching this channel for 2 years and just so happen to be flying into DFW next week. Can’t wait to checkout the Starship!
ОтветитьPhoenix Local here, been going to this place for 30+ years. always fun.
ОтветитьI had my 13th (or 14th?) birthday party down in the Tilt at Northeast Mall in the mid '90s. When you showed a picture of the pirate ship that used to be there...memory unlocked! I totally forgot about that. The only thing I (previously) remembered there was playing Time Traveller. It was just to the right of the stairs as you came down from the food court. Man, it was a great time for that mall. Thanks for sharing the picture! And thanks for another great video!
ОтветитьOhh no, they got rid of the crts. Last time I was here, about a year and a half ago, most the classic arcades were still CRT. No more Robotron either:( Dang, i guess nothing of the world last's forever. Nice video.
ОтветитьMike what was you reaction to Nintendo anouncing the marvel vs capcom fighting collection on switch
ОтветитьGreat video! I love the look and feel of this place. Real attention to detail in most areas. Looks really clean and well maintained.
Only wish it was in Scotland lol.
My family and I took a spring vacation to Sedona, really nice, beautiful, especially when you live in boring old Illinois. Hope you stopped at the blue McDonald's in Sedona only one with blue arches. Passed Castles N' Coasters didn't have time to stop but looks really cool arcade. Love the arcade tours. Keep up the great work, really enjoy the content.
ОтветитьNext time in Phoenix area, you should check out Starfighters Arcade out in Mesa. Lots of old arcade games and pinball machines.
ОтветитьI remember the pirate ship and northeast mall
ОтветитьGrew up in Phoenix and when I lived there this was Golf 'n Stuff. As you walked around the floor I remembered all the 80's games that were in the places. Over by the ticket counter/concession stand there was a sit-down, moving Space Harrier and a 3 monitor TX-1 racing game. The lower, center level used to have the only sit-down Star Wars Empire Strikes Back I've ever seen and the mid-level, at one time, had all pinballs around the circle. So many childhood memories!
ОтветитьMissed opportunity to go to Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa, AZ... I miss that place.
ОтветитьThis place looks awesome
ОтветитьLove you guys ❤😊
ОтветитьI live here in Phoenix. This was one of my childhood arcades. Played plenty of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct here. We had a very competative local fighter scene. They were one of the first arcades to switch to cards back in the day. You weren't allowed to enter unless you bought at least a $5 card to avoid loitering. The place was really nice because of this rule.
ОтветитьMvC2 rerelease and a new Eletric Starship vid?! I'm in heaven 😍
