"This is a penis joke"🤣😂
Ответить"that sweet juicy completion" heh😏, I see what you did there😁😆
ОтветитьThese types of videos just made me download 85 games from my library that I haven't finished. Almost all are far under 10 GB. Indie games pile up. I'm playing Alien Splatter Redux since I'm going alphabetical. Pretty good Steam Entertainment System game.
ОтветитьMan.. I was not ready for that part with Etika.. May he rest in peace 🕊🙏
ОтветитьLooks at backlog of games... looks at backlogs of videos in Watch Later...
ОтветитьThis is a very reassuring video. Many thumbs up!
ОтветитьI remember how I bought my first high spec pc last summer with the money I earned myself. I finished Cyberpunk 2077 in the middle of august after a month of not playing it. When the credits rolled at 6 am, it brought me to tears: I said to myself: "What a good story, but now what?"
ОтветитьTalking about playing Silksong when it comes out in 2023 loooool
ОтветитьI have over 2000 games unplayed on Steam. I needed this lol
ОтветитьYou got me with the tekken 7 customize music! Great video im glad i found this
ОтветитьThis is such a first word problem, its almost criminal to even talk about it as a problem.
ОтветитьTbis is really interesting but im glad i didnt see rhis video and just came here cause i got reccommended the second part
ОтветитьFor my realisticly sized 400GB PS4: (Pretty much Yakuza's 0-6). Getting those out of the way so that I can male room for finally getting to play a Final Fantasy Game (VII), Watchdogs 1-2, etc.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite backlog culling tools in Steam is a category I simply call "NOPE". Games in NOPE are ones I've booted, played a bit, and decided I'm just not into. That gets them out of the main list, giving me way less to scroll through when I'm looking for something to play.
Ответитьngl you were a looker back in the 50's
ОтветитьI just impulse-ordered Persona 5 despite knowing I won't have time to get to it for at least two months and that the main story alone is 100 hours. What is wrong with me?
ОтветитьOne time I wanted to buy a bunch of games so I added them all to my wishlist, and after I added them all, I narrowed it down to games I would actually play, games that are highly recommended, or games that are creatively distinct. Felt so good after even though I only bought a couple of those games! It works with everything, the realization and acceptance that you don’t actually need to buy something is so gratifying
ОтветитьYears ago I started to put my backlock on a list and sort them chronologically cause I never knew what to play next. Now I just play the game on top of my list and enjoy the ride. It grew so much, that I know I will never finish it. What eases my mind is that it's not about the end but the journey that leads you there.
ОтветитьThis video made me cry harder than What Remains of Edith Finch
ОтветитьWhen I bought my gaming PC a few years ago and created an account on Steam, I was so overwhelmed by the amount of games on offer. Not just the newest AAA games but older games I never had the chance to play and visually stunning looking indie games. Around that time, I got into contact with a cousin of mine who had been gaming for years so he recommended a lot of games to me as well and I went a bit overboard during the Steam sales. My anxiety went through the roof when I noticed how quickly I could buy games but how long it took for me to finish one.
Fast forward to today and I'm no longer anxious about my backlog or my never-ending wishlist on Steam. I already know that I will never be able to play ALL the things that I'd like to try out at least once but I still enjoy adding things to my wishlist. I'm not as tempted to immediately buy something the minute it's on sale because I know now that it will just be sitting in my library for years. I've decided to go through it game by game and only buy something new if I really feel the "pull" to play it, not just because it happens to be on sale at that moment
There's a part of me that wants to finish my games and experience all of them
Then there's also a part of me that doesn't want to finish all my games Because Sometimes it's nice to have a good selection of games that you have beaten yet
It's kind of like th saving it for a rainy day If you have a selection of games you haven't beaten yet it's kind of like you always have something new to Experience Without having to spend any money or anything
As a man with over 1,000 games in his Steam library (counting ones I've completed), this definitely hit hard. And that's not even taking into account my Epic, Switch, and PS5 libraries/backlogs. It's really hurts that I'm also a completionist. I almost wish that all game releases would be put on hold for a year so I could catch up some. Granted, that wouldn't help too much since I've almost got enough to play a different game every day for over 3 years, much less finish them, but it would still help a good bit.
Ответитьi could be clearing my backlog but i watch a 30 min video about backlogs instead.
ОтветитьI'm so happy someone said that about Persona 5. I gave it an honest chance but it was really dragging on for a long time to start that game! I plan to go back one day.
ОтветитьHaving a backlog is fine.
ОтветитьAh yes, turning gaming into a task
ОтветитьI spent good tens of thousands of hours playing games in my life. And all of them amount to like not more than 100 games total, with a great part of those hours belonging only to like 5-7 games. My backlog is fucking dead.
On that note, I am the type to grind the shit out of a game once I start it. But at the same time, I do not feel any anxiety about my ridiculously large backlog at all: I've long come to terms with the fact of how rarely I actually pick up a new title. I know that if I will pick up a new game, I will complete it. If I won't ever pick up that game, then probably wasn't worth it anyway.
I do, however, feel slight disappointment from time to time. I'm a game developer, yet I seemingly didn't play enough games.
Video starts with an ad = downvote and no watch. Sorry bud. Implement it in the video somehow. Nobody wants to watch an ad then watch an in video ad straightaway.
ОтветитьBut, overcoming a discomfort originating in a form of anxiety by leaning into it and organizing and ticking off things just to feel better, it’s like overcoming social anxiety by building a bunker..
What you should do is work on the source of your subconscious anxiety that you try to mitigate by control . And then only play the best games that your time allows.
Because even if there is a game, that would be good to play, the FOMO you have is just disguised anxiety , but because you don’t have infinite time, you can take off those games! They are not on the list.
The same as becoming a commercial pilot is not on your job list for the next few years
sell them, you'll never get around to them.
Ответитьjust play a game its not that hard you weirdos
ОтветитьFuck it. Made a GOG account to buy even more games
ОтветитьTo me, the game that did it for me was “Inscryption”. I played it all day and all night, it was that game that i didnt expect to love but it was such a awesome game that i wish. I could just forget and play again, i always suggest that game to anybody that wants something new to play. Great video
ОтветитьThis video was on my to watch backlog for a year now! Im free
ОтветитьCan anybody suggest me games so I can increase my back log and my stress levels. Please and Thank You.
