A robot at a waste disposal plant won't be able to work for even 1 day, these suction cups break even in production where it is necessary to grab plywood glued with new film. It is also impossible to replace people with robots, because this will lead to massive overconsumption of coal and uranium at power plants 👎
The only thing for which robots can be modernized is to send them to Mars to make basic infrastructure before people fly there

I used to work in an auto parts warehouse. I could see then how many of our jobs could be automated, although it would require changes in how items were packaged. It was back breaking work for humans, and by the time I left, I had many joint problems. I am doing better now. Robots could have handled heavy workloads over long hours without injuries or calling off sick.

My old warehouse job has automated LO (high reach) forklifts. They messed up a lot though. Other warehouse jobs I've been at had to have drivers for the LO forklifts

I like how all these companies pushing out robots, some places sure but should always keep 50% or more human bodies in the work place instead of replacing most. If you keep replacing human workers that work to make a living and money, who do you think will be left that is going to have any money to buy your products down the road if a lot of companies replace human workers? Sure someone has to maintain the robots but out of 1,000 workers, you keep 6 for maintenance and 100 other companies does the same thing, you now have almost 100,000 workers unemployed and not making a paycheck to SPEND MONEY ON PRODUCTS!!!!!!

Guess we'll have to live in another country. Doing there crap jops. Till they can afford robots?. Cause there's no way. An employeer is going to use plan ol employees to do the work of a robot. Just ain't cost effective.

That funny orange coloured robot could easily replace the human sitting at the cash register as most things have barcode and only some needs a weight check.
Climbing shelves..... That calls for checking the gods before given to the robots. Futuristic but fun. Like drone delivery that has not been any great success yet.
Lots of fun. Floor moving robots were built almost 40 years ago. The dairy market was the target. Safety and obstacle (humans) avoiding was important. Asking how the robots act on a floor wet from leaking cream or milk I didn't get the designers job.... Worked 7 years in such a place....
