Yes i saw the tubes in 1977, at the royal.oak music theater, yes it was a good gig!!! And yes they played this tune

I saw them at Portsmouth Guildhall in May 1979 (Their previous date was cancelled as there were objections to them playing on Remembrance Sunday IIRC). What a bunch of entertainers. The date is easy to pinpoint, as it was the night of the European Cup Final between Nottingham Forest and Malmö. Every couple of songs there was an update on the score, England 0, Sweden 0. Finally there was another update, England 1, Sweden 0. I think, it might have been the other way around, whatever, the crowd went even wilder 😊

The epitome of pure debauchery, unhinged, lyrically genius of a sliver of time when glam rock ruled and many bands fell into this groove from Iggy Pop, Montrose, Sweet, Gary Glitter, Mott The Hoople, Todd, Rundgren, Cheap Trick, to even the likes of Rolling Stones and especially David Bowie (who probably invented glam and i consider the Godfather of Glam or Iggy pop) this is a great , historic video!!

Saw this show at the Whiskey in ‘77 and when Fee left the stage, hopped ainto a limo, went round the block and emerged as Quay Lewd , it changed everything. My mind is still blown 46 years later…
