Nice piece! For some reason the video is backwards?
ОтветитьGood looking bowl, Peggy. Yes, I'd like to see more videos of the boards.
ОтветитьNice save, that looks great
ОтветитьThe people that told you were unsafe doesn’t know anything about turning bowls
ОтветитьGood evening, Peggy.
Your bowl is beautiful. Nicely saved. I also can appreciate your cutting/ chartrudery board. Very nice.
Nice recovery for a beautiful bowl.
ОтветитьBeautiful work as always. I love the save on this piece. Most of us have had a blowout or something similar. Things happen, and you recovered well!
ОтветитьIf you haven't had a piece explode or fly off the lathe then you probably haven't turned enough. Though we try to prevent it, it still happens. Just part of turning wood. Nice job, as always.
ОтветитьWonderful job as always Peggy 👏 beautiful bowl
ОтветитьBeautiful bowl Peggy and great recovery.
ОтветитьGreat job.
ОтветитьIt turned out so beautifully!
ОтветитьThe facebook critics can be pretty relentless, though they seem to have a lot of collective experience too. Those deep cracks can be deceptive! Good save.
ОтветитьNice bowl, Peggy! Ignore the trolls. They hate themselves and their lives. Haha.
ОтветитьWatched the shorter version, very nice recovery! And anyone who turns know you are safe. Safry first is always the first thing we turners learn.
ОтветитьWow, way to save that project! I would have thrown it in the burn barrel after that blow out! Finished piece is very pretty.
ОтветитьBeautiful bowl. You made a beautiful recovery. The color was spot on. Thank you for sharing. Peace out
ОтветитьYes, I would like to see your videos on making cutting boards. The bowl turned out great. It was worth the risk, keep turning.
ОтветитьPfft. You’ll always have Monday quarterbacks. I’m a turner. I don’t care how much preventive steps you take, things happen. Bowls split and send UFOs flying around the shop. I’d say you did the bowl justice. Looks good.
ОтветитьWe all have falurs to have success
ОтветитьReally excellent recovery, glad to not see any injury. I do wish you would arrange your camera function to show the true appearance. Mirror image is not easy to understand.
ОтветитьWOW! That was close but glad you're not hurt and you got back on the horse. It looks awesome.
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьYou wouldn’t have known that if had a bark inclusion that would cause a to split , and those who said you shouldn’t be turning wood have never turned wood themselves before , everyone who turns wood has had their block literally explode on them it’s just part of turning, you hope it doesn’t happen but it will you just have to take care and use the right protective gear and those gloves you had on are perfectly fine, keep up the great work all the best from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺
ОтветитьPeggy, the world seems to be filled with “nay-sayers” these days…. So sorry, but even they must admit that you made an excellent recovery, you still have all of your digits and your completed projects speak for themselves! Nice work!
ОтветитьI would love to see you making cutting board stuff.
ОтветитьI love the combination of resin and wood. I am sorry it was not a planned event but that's life. I would very much like to see your cutting board made.
ОтветитьWeird how everything is filmed backward after the explosion. Did you sand or prep the crack/inclusion before the epoxy? Looks great.
ОтветитьSure let's see some cutting board making
Ответить💜💙
Ответитьinteresting recovery. why do you prefer denatured alcohol to mineral spirits for the initial wood cleanup? thanks
ОтветитьGreat end use for a knarly piece that some folks would have sent to the firewood column. Keep creative 😊😊😊
ОтветитьBeautiful Peggy you are a very talented woodturner. God bless!!
ОтветитьThe Internet is full of back seat drivers who have nothing better to do than to tear down the people who are doing things.
I noticed that after you added the epoxy and remounted the bowl, the video is mirrored. Was there a particular reason for that?
'promo sm' 😕
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьBeautiful and great recovery 🎉
ОтветитьYou have your camera lens zoom set for mirror image..But the bowl is awesome
Ответитьyes, videos of you making cutting boards and more would be lovely
ОтветитьLove this piece…great save…
ОтветитьHelt greit har vert borti det samme flere ganger stå på
ОтветитьDon’t worry about negative comments, you’re doing just fine. Keep it up.
Ответитьgood job of staying with it!
ОтветитьI’m a CNC machinist and as I always say to the younger guys in the shop “ a person who’s never made a mistake has never made anything”, the bowl turned out beautifully 👍, the haters opinions are just that, opinion's .
ОтветитьGreat save and lovely looking piece 😊😊
ОтветитьLove the videos. I started using the Ack products and love them. Thank you for that.
Ответитьbloody. brilliant
