I have never had a geissele so i personally have no judgment on them. But i do have very good things to say about Midwest Industries out of Wisconsin. So i ordered a rifle that was cataloged with a 12.5 inch rail. For $10 more i could upgrade to a 15 inch rail. So i did. When they built the rifle, somewhere that was missed and it shipped with a 12.5 inch rail. So i called Midwest Industries before i left the gunshop it was shipped to, and spoke with them. very helpful and instantly sent me a prepaid postage to ship the upper back. We shipped it on a Monday, i figured its gona be a few week or more. Well Friday of the same week, 5 days later it was back at my house with the 15 inch rail and a box of goodies. All kinds of swag with a little note of apologies. I live about 800 miles from Midwest Industries, so i looked on the tracking number information and saw that it was in their shop for about 4 hours on Wednesday and it shipped out the same day they received it. My experience with the customer service was amazing. They pulled out the red carpet. I have since got more of their rifles and its been a %110 a awesome experience being their customer. Their rifles run as well. Ive been to several rifle classes and zero issues with it. I could go on and on but itll get to be a realy long comment.

I thought Geissele's were awesome, but customer service is just as important as having a solid product, I will not be a customer of them in the future.

I buy minimal Geissele and only when they're on sale. They're churning out so much blemish stuff that they're unloading it through primary arms and other online retailers on a regular basis. I have a few triggers and one Blemula Super Duty that was on sale during one holiday for like $999. And that blem SD really didn't shoot all that great at 50yds with a 16" CHF barrel. Thus I'm glad I only paid around a $1000. I would have been super disappointed if I paid full retail.

In my research and observation, I always have reservations about the super pricey rifle manufacturers. I have seen and heard good and bad experiences with both inexpensive, reputable and the sometimes "overpriced": Until everything is built by robots and precise mathematic calculation there are going to be errors.

I was just about to purchase one. Literally I have it in my cart on a second monitor. This has made me back out. I'm sorry they did that to you.

I know this isn't relevant, but Zephyr (sells vent hood ranges for kitchens) never worked that well. I didn't decide to call about it, until 10 YEARS later. They sent me replacements free of charge. Because of that I will never shut up about them. But my God, you should never need customer service, but when you do, the results will stick with you and either make you love them more, or fill you with hatred. Like my hatred for maytags trash products.

This looks like one of the blem uppers on primary arms? As far as I that's the only place selling the uppers with those brass colored qd points. Did you get it there? If so that's probably why they weren't too careful with the finish, as it was a blem from the getgo anyways.

The tight chamber is unacceptable for sure, but as for the scratches, as long as the gun still functions it really shoyldn't hurt the resale value beyond like 50-100 dollars tbh.

I haven’t personally tried any of their uppers or rifles for that matter but I do recall a couple years back, another gentleman was having the same issue with communications with the company in regards to issues he was having with his rifle! Damn, that kinda sucks! That’s why I would probably recommend a BCM rifle and would put a Geissele trigger on it.

Could you inform me, according to which would be the best Ar15 between the Geissele automatics dutu 14,5 and the Daniel Defense M4A1?

I hesitate between the two and I can not decide to help me, please .

Merci beaucoup

Which manufacturer has flawless product and execution?

Which manufacturer provides the appropriate amount off free stuff for your inconvenience?

Which manufacturer is running at 100% during heavy PTO times?

Which manufacturer is responsible for the owner delaying repairs until the holiday season?

IM sure you celebrated the holidays and Im sure you wouldn’t begrudge their employees the same comforts.

They stood behind their product. Thats all that was owed.

I started with the budget brands like PSA and aero precision. I had great experiences with them. I moved my way up to the higher endish brands. BCM ,Daniel defense and Geissele. I figured since my experience was good down in the entry-level when I moved up my expenses would be much better that wasn’t the case at all. My bcm was bad out of the box. They fixed the issue pretty quick. 3 week turnaround. My Daniel is having ejection issues out of the box. It’s a little frustrating. When you spend 3 to 4 times the amount of money on a product that should be of a higher quality but yet you have to do a warranty claim. That’s why you should always go out a run your equipment don’t always assume something is going to work.

Wow, that's crazy. I would never buy one of their uppers, however their super precision scope mount is amazing and I'm really happy with it, and their REBCG is pretty good. But an upper? Nah, for that money I could build or probably even buy 2 nice ones, or at least buy 1 and a good amount of ammo. Once you spend more than like 800 on an upper you get diminishing returns from spending more

I totally feel you. As a person who was formerly a technician and a journeyman, craftsmanship is your signature--I was mentored to exude this tenet. Now, I'm all grown up and work in a different field as a manager. Through managerial eyes, the crux of this problem is the culture set within this business. Ideally, when you hired new ppl, they are plucked from the stack of applicants based on high quality deliverables, then trained for quality, and then their performance review will be reinforced with quality and craftsmanship (but also feedback as to the operation of the business). Here in your scenario, with multiple people and the outcome being low quality--that's all set into the culture. The guy who claimed this was not their SOP, that person ought to have the power to up this issue to a actionable manager because a good manager needs to hear your issue to improve their own business model. Ultimately, all businesses rely on customer satisfaction especially upon payment of a very expensive and industry defining product.

Why would you expect proper service after dropping hundreds on their over priced products? This is ameroca where people only care about themselves and their money. At least 95%. Bro… Put some Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black on a cotton ball and dab it on the exposed aluminum. Wait a few seconds and when it turns black rinse it off with some water. Pat it dry with a clean cloth and then spray the towel with a little CLP and wipe it down. That mark should be all but invisible. Well… Let’s not forget that the mark already is completely invisible when the gun is assembled… But now you won’t have to worry about having to look at that ugly little scratch whenever you shotgun open your upper.. You know… With it being so aesthetically ugly and offensive to your poor little eyeballs and everything.

Geissele doesn't need their commercial market. Not really. They're arming military and law enforcement around the globe. They've got government contracts out the ass and those take precedent over commercial warranty work. People expecting an immediate response from a company that's arming SOCOM make me laugh. You're at the bottom of the pecking order.
