Efficient training of Spoken Spanish listening

This is a very good way to learn Spanish! The English audio confuses me and when I listen to this same video on the 3rd time the words came in so clearly!

I would prefer englis 4 times spanish one more english than a bleep for the nrw sentence. I do not want to keep oprning and shutting my eyes 😅😮

Always thought that the word yo was pronounced with a y sound in front. In this video as well as others it starts with a j sound . Which is it? And does it make every word that has a y in it have a j sound?

I can read every sentence. But my listening skills are awful.

This is excellent ear training. However, without the context of the sentences, it's often difficult to get them exactly right.

Can you please make the English typing font 2-3x larger please?

If I'm watching on a cell phone its hard to see what the small words are so it's Spanish audio while we can't see what the words are.

There's plenty of room since most of the screen is empty anyway.

I think this would be significantly more valuable if you put the Spanish subtitles up first so we have some framework for grasping what is being said. Without it I’m just grasping at straws and not able to understand the separation between words at all and its only after the subtitles show up that I’m able to get any value out of this. It makes this video effectively worthless for me at my stage of learning. And I’d think once I’m beyond this stage, then I won’t need the subtitles or translation at all so it seems odd to have designed it this way.

Love this, just wish you'd say it one time in English at the end so I can drive or move about the house without having to stop and look at the screen! Thank you!

Is this Spanish spoken with an accent from Spain (castillan)or cental or south America? I need to practice comprehension of Castillan Spanish before moving to Spain, but I have not found any free listening comprehension exercises as good as this one - I love the variety of verb conjuagations used as well.
