Worm has been my favorite player of all time since I was 9 years old in 1993. Not very common for a white kid in the middle of nowhere Ohio. I eighth grade i would only wear red Bulls shorts in races and wear his jersey under mine. When I was a freshman in high school, one whole wall was covered in Rodman pictures and posters. Couldn't see one speck of paint on the wall. Now I'm 40 and I still feel like I can run through a wall after watching his highlights.

I was not a Pistons fan. I was not a Bulls fan. I was not a Spurs fan. But I will always be a Rodman fan. I went to see an exhibition game at UofA with the Spurs and Pistons just after him and Sean Elliot traded. I was jazzed about seeing the Captain but he bailed to limit his plays in exhibition like the pre Madonna that he was. Never missed him. Rodman put on a show and I was mesmerized.

If I was creating a 5 man lineup to try and beat any other 5 man lineup, I always had Rodman at the 4. He could guard ALL 5 positions and free everyone else to do their job

One of a kind for sure. He was like spiderman sometimes. Pulling off athletics beyond the game. He was always trascendent to his team. He had an enormous impact on their team´s scoring options. So many rebounds, defenses and blocks. Rodman was an army of one man.

Yep, Rodman was the only hope the Bulls had to keep Shaq in check, but he put up a good fight under the rim.

Rodman also got screwed by the refs often, the kind of people who tend to want to be referees do not like the free spirit of guys like Rodman.
