I can't overstate how much this song got me through the pandemic.

I may have a different interpretation of this song, but it made me think of everyone who trauma bonded and started relationships right at the beginning of the pandemic. “What will we say to each other when the needle goes in” - going to get their shots together. “What will we be to each other if the world doesn’t end” - will this relationship last when the state of the world finds a new normal, when we go back to our offices, security resurfaces, etc.? Will you still want me in your life when you don’t need me to feel grounded anymore? Really powerful song for a crazy time in our world.
