Come and See (1985).
ОтветитьTo me, Ghost Stories, i watched an unaltered Spanish dub when i was a kid(not the funny american one). The episodes with that ghost kid who ran and cutted off people's feet and the episode with the mirror "ghosts" who live in a parallel world to us and are like creepy clones of every single human where scary as fuck.
I still remember the last line of the mirror ghosts episode where the possessed cat says"Maybe just maybe... The world was always backwards" and the image makes people in the street have the same white light eyes as the "copies" as the cat laughs. That fucked me up pretty hard i still remember it to this day.
The eye in the shoulder was freaky but that eye in the palm that got stabbed really got me back then. And to think the one kid grew up to be a Vampire gang leader fightin the daywalker. Yeah makin that movie didnt affect him at aalll...
ОтветитьIs it scarier than Jurassic Park?
ОтветитьOmg I still remember the music during the scene where the giant demon is coming up the tunnel in his house and up through the floor.
Oh and the glass shard in the boys hand that grew an eye
The Gates, definitely
Also, I wanna throw in The Witches 🤘🤘
As a kid, those little claymation imp things were the most terrifying fucking things I had ever seen.
ОтветитьYes! I called it The Gate when I saw this title.
ОтветитьThe dark crystal was always creepy.
ОтветитьWhang! So weird. My wife was talking about the huge hole that's getting bigger and bigger in our backyard. It's like, penetrated by a root system of sorts.. once I fell in and went like 3 ft down. Anyways, I said how it reminded my of that movie with the boy and the hole in the backyard. "Not The hole in the ground which was also awesome, but the one from the 80s." She didn't know. I meant to look it up but when that phone call ended it was Pad See Ew time. Now I don't have to! Thanks man 🤘
Brave Little Toaster. Bar none.
Ответить'Little Monsters', 'Brave Little Toaster', and 'Return to Oz' are extremely disturbing. I loved them as a kid and can barely watch them now.
ОтветитьI think The Gate rides the line of being a kids movie. It still holds up watching it as an adult, not as "scary" but I don't find movies scary anymore in general.
ОтветитьReturn to oz legit damaged my little brother.
ОтветитьTwo cartoons that have permanently scarred me are "Little Nemo Adventures in Dreamland" and "Help I'm a Fish". The nightmare monster/s in Little Nemo and the villain's death in Help I'm a Fish have got to be some of the scariest shit I witnessed as a child in what would otherwise be an appropriate piece of media for me.
Oh, and The Brave Little Toaster had some fucked up shit as well.
It's definitely Winnie the Pooh.
ОтветитьThe scariest children's movie is El Arca from 2007
ОтветитьIt's not a horror movie and it's not made for kids, but "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle" was a movie that terrified me as a kid, even though I hadn't seen it. Let me explain: the name of the movie terrified me when it was announced that it was going to be on TV. I imagined it was literally a movie about a scary hand rocking a child's crib!!!
Ответитьif you're from mexico definitely chucky
ОтветитьStephen Dorff's dialogue was cinematic gold.
ОтветитьTurtle 7
ОтветитьOmg I absolutely love that movie!!!!
ОтветитьI love Whang vids!!!
ОтветитьReturn to OZ
The Wheelers, The Deadly Desert that turned people to sand and the Queen with all the different heads.
The Spy Kids movie with all the body horror mutants
