Born and raised in NYC and stilk live in Washington Heights. In my opinion, the crime now doesn't compare to what NYC had back in the late 80s, early 90s. Back then we had up to 2,200 murders a year. The city is soft now.
ОтветитьI lived in Bed Stuy (Jefferson and Nostrand) from 1997-2009. 1997 was before gentrification , and NEVER had a problem! Have people that are family to me til this day! BTW I am a white lady, now 74 yrs old in August!
ОтветитьLove all of those palm trees in this depiction of the Norwood section of The Bronx. 😂
ОтветитьI live in East Elmhurst queens and it’s peaceful here. I wouldn’t live anywhere else
ОтветитьThe video is so good for me to see it again and again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьArtificial voice ruins the video
ОтветитьI see that this is a new channel. Here are a few tips to help you grow. 1 -- It's taking waaay too long in the intro to get to the list of 15 neighborhoods. I lost interest by the time it got to two and a half minutes or so of the AI voice talking about random statistics. You should get to the point of the video within 30 seconds. 2. No matter how good the AI narrator is, people can still tell it's an AI narrator. People like when they can connect to a real personality.
ОтветитьI wouldn't wanna live in New York Where I work some rich people purchased the Golf Course and a bunch of property here must be Nice to have that kind of Money
ОтветитьI've lived in Brownsville for 12 years and a year in East NY before that. It's not nearly as violent as it used to be. The neglect surrounding a lack of things to doand places to go is a problem, especially for children.
ОтветитьWe’ve traveled all over and we seek out the bad part of town to visit when we’re in a new town.
ОтветитьWe're looking at you Midwest hipsters......
ОтветитьAslong as NYs DA keeps protecting dangerous criminals and punishing law abiding citizens, NYs a place to avoid living. Esp now with the rampant violent illegals freely assaulting n robbing as they please.
ОтветитьI live in Brooklyn
ОтветитьThe RATS run things in NYC😂😂😂🎉
ОтветитьNeighborhoods to avoid at all costs?¿
This person obviously doesn't live in nyc. This video is laughable. I have lived in nyc my entire life and have been through all of these Neighborhoods unscathed. The pictures in the video is not of the places they are talking about. There is crime in every city any place you go, you just have to be smart and aware of your surroundings. There are so many nice places to shop and hang out in all of these areas.
I done lived in all those hoods she don't know what she is talking about
ОтветитьNo one is moving in
ОтветитьPhoto on this video shows (here we go again) papers*beer cans**car parts* on the sidewalks that MAKES IT LOOK EVIL!!!!! But rest assured there's NOTHING TO STEAL inside those """UNFORTUNATELY POOR PEOPLES""" apartments!!! But show a photo of the """SWANKY POSH RITZZZY TONY UPSCALE""" neighborhoods with ULTRU CLEAN SIDEWALKS and guess what === that's your MOST DANGEROUS BROKEN INTO APARTMENTS and MUGGERZ HEAVEN AREAS!!!!! Because that's where the WORKING """HIGH END CLASS""" RESIDE******
Ответить@Empowered Potential== Thanks==Love those to avoid being a """mugging jugging hugging victim""" be AWARE of your surroundings!!!! I guess that """surroundings""" means the=== DOGGY POOP UP AHEAD**OPEN SEWERS***OPEN CELLAR DOORS***55,876 PROTESTORS up ahead WRECKING SCREAMING* BLOCKKKING SIDEWALKS* * GUY DRINKING 25th can of beer coming at you*** so thanks for this news clip as I will start my day VERY CAUTIOUSLY******
ОтветитьI lived in Bushwick 10 years ago. Proximity to L and M trains was a big plus. Can't really say anything bad about it. I imagine rents must've doubled by now lol
ОтветитьBorn and raised in The Bronx I have two words for you "Stay Out"..
ОтветитьI bet you that 'virtual neighborhood'
You live in is a shithole too
What’s up with this video?
I was in Manhattan today and go all over NYC all the time. Many of the pictures and video featured places that are NOT NYC or even NY… like the one with the low one story houses with palm trees. There’s no palm trees in NYC. Tract houses? None of those either? Plus, why did you list bushwick twice?
It would be easier to listen to this if this woman's voice wasn't so damn annoying!
ОтветитьCopstat was a lie, Guiliani was a lie and his police commissioner Bernard Kerik went to prison! Do not use revisionist history!
ОтветитьNew York City Politcian and Influencer Mr Anthony Weiner On Talk Radio 77 AM NY City and NY USA Senator Charles Schumer and NY Activists Led By Reverend Al Sharpton and Obama/Biden Government and Hakeem Jefferies Encourage and Support Open USA Borders Policy and Giving Billions Of Dollars To Islamic Refugees and Assylum Seekers and Giving Them The Right To Vote and Legalized Drugs Looting Vandalism Violence Stealing Homelessness Prostitution Terrorist Acts and Transgender Rights Operations for Children and Teaching Protest Against USA Constitution and Israel.
ОтветитьThis was well done. It is also fair and accurate.
ОтветитьPut fathers in those homes and crime will go down
ОтветитьIt is The Bronx not Bronx
Ответить1990 did what maybe you should be a new Yorker before you comment
ОтветитьVery melodramatic. Lots of people live and work safely in those places. It's terrifying when something horrific happens to a random, lawful, middle class person, but that's highly unusual.
ОтветитьAnnoying voice 👎🏽
ОтветитьTerrible video completely untrue!!!!
ОтветитьWhat BS…… basically if you are scary avoid majority minority communities.
All these place have hundreds of thousands of inhabitants.
Life isn’t that hard if you have balls.
I wish NYC would go back to the way it was. Black white Puerto Rican and Asian everyone else needs to leave. Im born and raised in the X and if y’all thought it was bad in the 70’s and 80’s na it’s horrible here now!!!! All these Non PR Latinos have destroyed the Bronx and should be deported
ОтветитьMost of these neighborhoods are not as bad as they used to be, and it is not reality to brand the entirety of some of these areas as dangerous. However, if videos like these make gentrifiers think twice and go to Long Island City, that may save the real new yorkers from being gentrified out of the communities they have spent their lives in.
ОтветитьCiao ancore da Bagheria Sicilia. I grew up in Brooklyn Heights. And I can still remember when most of these areas were all WHITE. Oh well. Everything changes. Good night from Sicily. Oh. And the People spoke English.
ОтветитьClearly , this woman doesn't know what she is talking about and the pictures don't match the narrative
ОтветитьIf there were no drugs there'd be no problems.
ОтветитьOmg, dramatic and scary video tour of the New York City slums, ghettos and hoods. Beware tourists, no-go zones at night !
ОтветитьNew York City is a War Zone no matter what borough you live in I say this because I grew up in the Bronx and I am a veteran you have to be safe and try to survive!
ОтветитьYou name the South Bronx, then name three separate neighborhoods in the South Bronx, and not naming any other South Bronx neighborhoods that are just as bad or good. The Bronx has changed a lot since I lived there last in the early 2000's, but it’s still da Bronx, and you should be aware of that, if you ever find yourself in the Beautiful Bronx.
ОтветитьFarrock is worse than all of them
ОтветитьLmao.....all black and Latin communities
They forgot far rock... and a few others
But here's truth if you grew up in those areas
Or have family there
Most of the times they won't fck with u
They probably ask who you know
I grew up In New York
I hardly had problems like that
Not saying I didn't
But not like this lady make it sound
Stay away from those white hoods
Those Albanians, itatliaNs, Irish, slavs, and Greeks have mob ties
You left out Queensbridge and the Lower East Side.
ОтветитьI've had no issue living in Jamaica, Queens cause I literally grew up here. But the neighbors across the street from me gotta tone it down at night. That's my only problem with it
ОтветитьAll 15 places you consider dangerous are really not as bad as you think I’m Born and raised in the Bronx lived all over the Bronx including Mott Haven, Fordham, North and South Bronx now in Queens Far Rockaway. This lady basically said stay away from all boroughs except Manhattan everything she just said is far from true mind your own business and you will be fine although you can’t walk around like a complete stranger and must have a backbone and not take any shit stand up for yourself and if you must be prepared to be violent if necessary it is what it is I’m comfortable every where I go in NYC it’s my home and I love it.❤️
