ОтветитьHow was the Knatty Dread Dreadlocks Cream
ОтветитьI’m so glad to find you! Finally someone’s hair that looks close to mine! I’m in my month 3 of my starter locs and documenting if you wanna check it out in my playlists. How long have you had yours?
ОтветитьI’m on month 5 of my locs and I’m going to retwist my own hair Monday. I know that I can do it, but having locs is more high maintenance than people think. I think I worry more with breakage now than I did when I had my loose hair 😭. My hair on the side is so thin and my locs are kinda small, and I fear that it’ll break off. I might make a video.
ОтветитьYour skin is beautiful
ОтветитьHey love, just wanted to comment that it’s not a good idea to use a comb on starter locs especially. The process in which the hair locks is weird and starts in places that may not appear to be so. Combing disrupts and slows the process and may cause weirdness to the way the hair does finally lock together. It may not seem like a big deal at first because the effects don’t show up immediately, but present themselves later. The whole locking process is about tangling, condensing, shrinking, matting and everything in between, the comb is in direct opposition to what you’re trying to accomplish. I know a lot of lockers use combs and etc. But they usually have issues that don’t contribute to using a comb. Also using a comb imparts that locs and their respective parts are to be neat and people use the comb and scissors/cutting hairs to achieve it. It breaks the integrity of the lock also by affecting the rootbed. Just an FYI from someone that has been there. Hope this bit of information is useful and/or helpful.
ОтветитьTip : mix the shampoo with water 💦 in a bottle, then pour onto hair. Easier to get shampoo into the hair and work up a lather this way.
Ответитьjust a small note i suggest using aloe vera to retwist as it has many befits for your hair and scalp but also doesnt leave any buildup
ОтветитьHow do you get your locs to stay locked when your hair gets wet? Its been 4 months of no washing my hair and any once of moisture untwists my hair back into an afro. I really need someone's help really bad. I don't wanna give up, but I don't want my hair look like a mess. Maybe I have the wrong hair type?
ОтветитьA cotton shirt actually has less friction than a towel though
ОтветитьA lot of new growth
ОтветитьCan all hair types use ur method?
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video. Really did a good job doing it on yourself. 5hrs? & you gotta work.
ОтветитьFor how long and what settings did you use on the blow dryer?
