Giveaway entry for 10 oz bar: https://www.thesilverforum.com/raffles/raffle/158-all-members-celebrating-10-years-of-tsf-%F0%9F%A5%B3-10-oz-hand-poured-exclusive-11-tsf-branded-hammered-10-year-anniversary-bar-byb-sa-collaboration/

Welcome back to the channel, folks! Today's video is one of those moments where I thought I was making a savvy investment move, but boy, was I wrong! So, picture this: I'm scrolling through online listings, browsing different investment opportunities, when suddenly I stumble upon a listing for a whopping 5 KILO silver bar. Now, as someone who's always been intrigued by precious metals and the potential they hold for diversifying my investment portfolio, I thought, "Why not?"

Little did I know, that split-second decision would lead to a series of events that left me questioning my judgment and financial acumen. As the package arrived, I was filled with a mix of excitement and anticipation. Holding that hefty silver bar in my hands felt like holding a piece of treasure, a tangible representation of wealth and security. But as the initial rush wore off, reality started to sink in.

First off, let's talk about the sheer size and weight of this thing. I mean, 5 KILOS is no joke! Carrying it around felt like lugging a small dumbbell, and finding a secure place to store it became a logistical nightmare. Not to mention the nervous glances from friends and family when they saw this behemoth sitting in my living room.

But the physical burden was only the tip of the iceberg. As I delved deeper into the world of silver investing, I began to realize just how volatile and unpredictable it could be. Market fluctuations, storage costs, and the constant fear of theft or loss started to gnaw at me. What if the value plummeted overnight? What if I couldn't offload it when I needed to?

As the days turned into weeks, my excitement waned, replaced by a sinking feeling of regret. What had I gotten myself into? Was this impulsive purchase really worth it?

In this video, I take you along on my journey of self-reflection and financial introspection. I share the highs and lows of my experience, the moments of exhilaration and the stark reality checks. Spoiler alert: it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.

So, if you've ever found yourself tempted by the allure of precious metals or caught in the grip of impulsive decision-making, this video is for you. Join me as I navigate the murky waters of investment regret and hopefully emerge a little wiser on the other side. Don't forget to hit that like button if you've ever made a questionable investment choice, and subscribe for more candid discussions on personal finance and the rollercoaster ride that is life.

Buying at spot is still not a good idea when spot is riding a peak. Buy the dips. Not the peaks.

Wow should have waited till the summer people are going to be partying the price might have dropped. Now I don't think I could buy more then 5 10 ounces. I bought at the peak before definitely noticed the difference in what I received in weight

Crazy piece ! 👍

If anything, it's a fine example of the density of the metal, which none of us talk about much.
Would be interesting to gather together a Kilo of Gold, Silver, Lead, Copper, etc, whatever metals just to show and compare volume and densities, and then talk about their price comparisons.

The one off 10z for the Forum looks fantastic !

Fabulous entertaining content once again, Kool Kids !

Too heavy
Too bulky
Not CGT exempt
Over value of postal insurance
Need to find one person willing and able to buy it and with cost of living now, no one has £3500+ to spend on a bit of silver 😂 lol

Very nice bar, but as you say lots of implications to think about 👍

Man I’ve got 5 or 6 100oz bars. No regrets, 1$/oz premium and I’ll be happy to sell it at melt to put a down payment on a house when I’m ready. Shouldn’t be anyones first purchase but if you need weight it’s super cost effective.

OMGosh. That's justa GIGANTIC bar. I've never seen bar up close like that. I've seen those silver bars in the form of a rubber or concrete car stop but not up-close... thank you for showing it off. I think one kilo, maybe even a hundred ounce bar is as far as I would be willing to go. Do you really worry about theft? With that thing it would be my luck that the thief would break in to the home, pick it up and fall down somewhere in my house and sue me for getting hurt in my home... F'n California... you know?!?!

How could one regret a giant Geiger bar?
That being said, pretty much all of my Geiger Bars are all in the "for retirement" part of my stack... so I have decades to worry about selling.
Really though, if I have a 5kg Geiger, that would probably be to pass down to family.

keep up the good vids!

100 oz bars are big but dang, that is a solid 10 lbs of 3 nines fine premium block. I was crazy enough to get a Single Kilo Libertad and I paid a handsome price for a very low mintage year as a reverse proof to boot. It will be pasted on to the next generation

Cost wise, it’s definitely not a good buy. But sometimes you just GOTTA have a certain piece. If your stack foundation is covered, and income allows it, splurge.

My “collection regret” is my Platinum Proof Russian Ballerina 1 oz first year production in original mint packaging and certification.

Just had to have it.
