Are the condition levers left in the low idle position for the entire flight? Looks like they get left that way since the after-start checks? If so, do you guys ever leave them in high idle?
Ответить...you should map your throttles to "Toggle Beta" 1 and 2. The result is no engine surging when entering or leaving beta mode. Great series!
ОтветитьHello captain, i have a question: is there any flight profile images as normal procedures in real world poh for king 350?...
ОтветитьIs it possible for KA350 to taxi after landing, with one engine off? Ive seen it on an ATR72. Would like to know if its possible, and which engine should be preferably running. An ATC and XP11 simmer here.
ОтветитьDid you have a way to bind beta mode on the honeycomb throttle? Didn't know if there was a solution for that
ОтветитьThank you for your excellent videos on the Airfoillabs. They are really useful to get up and running.
I have a few questions, what fuel burn do you use for flight planning and how do you determine the cruise altitude, is it based on route length?
Hi great tutorial :) Question: how to set baro minimum? :)
ОтветитьExcellent, excellent tutorials! I just got typed in the 350i and your videos are a huge help, especially going forward figuring out how to practice on Xplane! I really appreciate your videos and if you had a patreon account I’d definitely send a few bucks your way! 👏🤙
ОтветитьCurious to know where you got the green livery from the thumbnail?
ОтветитьAny chance you could do a quick video on what action binding you have for the buttons on your bravo throttle quadrant?
I’ve been having trouble getting the right actions selected as I’m sure other our having that prob too. It’d would be nice to be able to hit all the autopilot function buttons on the bravo throttle quadrant and have them work just like they do in the real plane.
P.s. Totally understand if you don’t have time to show us that. Thanks for your great videos! 👍
Hello thanks for your videos. How much is the Fuel Consumption on the BE350 for a Quick endurance calculation by memory, a rough figure let's say...
ОтветитьThank you for all of these! Just what I needed.
ОтветитьGreetings from the Philippines, I use X11 and I bought this airplane on sale awhile back, what version is this? I have auto trim failure, why? Great video by the way, thank you
ОтветитьEasy top of decent calculation..
Your cruise Altitude is FL260.
Airport Elevation is 1000ft MSL.
You want to be 1500ft above the airport elevation upon arrival at the airport.
Add the airport elevation and the height at which you want to be above that eleavtion together, In this case it would be 2500ft..
Airport Elev 1000ft + height above 1500ft = 2500ft..
Now subtract 2500ft from your cruise altitude of 26000ft. This gives you 23500ft.. Drop the zeros and add a decimal to give you 23.5nm..
Now multiply 23.5 x 3 for a decent path of 3°..
=70.5 Nautical miles, This is the distance in nautical miles that you need to start your descent from your cruise Altitude of FL260 to arrive at the airport 1500ft above the ground or above the airport elevation of 1000ft
Simply put if you start your descent at that distance from the airport you will arrive at 2500ft MSL upon arriving at the airport.
If you wish to arrive at this Altitude 5nm before the airport simply add 5nm to 70.5nm to get 75.5nm then start your decent from that distance..
Your rate of decent will simply depend upon your ground speed..
For example- Ground speed is 200 knots, Simply multiply 200 knots times 5..
This =1000fpm
Your rate of vertical descent should be 1000ft per minute with a ground speed of 200 knots..
This will vary slightly depending on the varying of your ground speed, simply recalculate it if your ground speed increases or decreases always multiply by 5 to get your rate of descent..
I know that was a mouthful but it's actually very simple once you've done it a few times and it works like a charm no matter the altitude or ground speed..
And with a 3゚ glide path this works for anything when trying to reach a specific altitude at an airport or a fix, or waypoint or any other position that the distance can be calculated..
Hope this helps anyone trying to manually calculate top of descent without the aid of an on board computer to do it for you.
Thanks!

Can you please confirm my understanding that your speed before touchdown is 125 KIAS? I read the book and said 100-109 based on weight. thanks
ОтветитьHow did you set up the beta range for the throttles on the bravo? I just got the the bravo quadrant and haven’t been able to set it up properly.
ОтветитьI acquired it 4 months ago, but I have not been able to handle it on the road track, and I use Yoke FLIGTH SIM stop flying on it
ОтветитьThanks for your King Air video series! I love this plane and I have it to learn with your instructions. Can you share with me how to program the Honeycomb Bravo switches and selectors? Maybe some screenshots of what selection you made in the Xplane 11 scheduler
ОтветитьHey! Love your videos! Do you have documentation you'd like to share, like Takeoff, crz and ldg, as well as an AFM? It would be wonderful!
ОтветитьNice 😊
