I just bought one, the battery on my current OnePlus 8 pro is going. Now yes the phone 2(a) is a downgrade in most ways, but I don't need nice cameras as I have a DSLR, I don't need a high resolution display as I have several at my disposal at my house, and I like not being glued to my phone the whole day, so something lighter with less specs can help me achieve that. I also wanted to try out nothing since the phone 1 came out. I've jumped between Motorola, google, Samsung, and OnePlus across the last 6 years or so and I'm ready to try out nothing in hopes that there the company I will end up sticking with.

Brand new iPhone's SE, 14 and 15 all cost less than Nothing 2. Also, refurbished iPhone pro and pro max cost less. Nothing 2a and 2a plus not available as of yet.... Why not choose an iPhone over Nothing phone?

This was the perfect phone for me until I learned it lacked wireless charging.

Just another person that started this company up after leaving Oneplus. BTW I wouldn't touch any of the smartphones because back at Oneplus they released an update which basically bricked their phone and Oneplus didn't want to know about it.

Why no micro sd card slot? That and the size are what keeps me from getting this. I would even forego the micro sd card slot if only they made a 6.1" version (or smaller).

Most of the time if not during the whole time you had the screen recording turned on. Whether it was intentional or not, it doesn't help performance and also may be the reason for the slow shutter speed as it utilizes the CPU/Chipset as well.

Please create another review for the new Nothing Phone 2a Plus. Apparently is somewhat faster (newer chipset) and a new front camera as well. Would be nice to compare against Pixel 8a and event the OG Phone 2a.

i have had my 2a for the last month and i really love it! its my first not oneplus phone since forever and i am really happy with it. sadly my backcamera has a hardware defect and i need to replace it 😞

NFC on the 2a/2a Plus is a boon for me compared to the CMF Phone 1 which has no NFC.

That "Ringtone and Notification" app would actually be pretty neat if you want to make some Morse Code ones.

I tried it but returned it, was way to big to handle.
Since I pull out my phone regularly at high speeds, high heigths or over open water I need to have a good grip.

I sold my Samsung s24 ultra for this. For almost a week, I m loving it.

Bought this the other day without much thought because my Samsung A24 died. For the price of the 2A I'm actually very impressed with the performance and the quality. This is the best 350 buck phone out there imo.

Had the pixel 7a and now oening the nothing 2a. This phone is a beast!!!! Sold my iphone 15 pro for it and never looking back. Slick design, astonishing photo quality(just turn hdr and xdr off), battery lasts me 2 days and gaming permotmance is awesome! Never ever dis it get warm not even when setting it up (my iphone was an oven)
