I’ve been on and off working on an iron man in F2P. I basically spent most my time killing goblins and talking with the members of 301 across the bridge. I plan on getting all F2P quests done and at the very least get enough magic for high alchemy

Started playing osrs my freshman year of college 5 years ago, now I have some money for members so I’m finally ready to jump in. I saved up 80mil go in f2p from flipping over the past 5 years and got most stats over 50 so I’m ready

The not accepting too much help thing is a really big one for me. A random player gave me 15mil and a bond and it made me lose all interest in building my own wealth and grinding for the stuff I needed. I didn't know better at the time and it was really nice of him, but it was a bit too much help. I'm restarting now 😅

Best tip: Don’t use Divine potions.

How do u highlight the grown when you do mouse inputs? Is that only on the pc version of could I also do it on the iPad with the trackpad ?

The thing that I think I did right in becoming a member from f2p (I did the bond grind here in Jan or Feb of this year) was to have a really specific plan to get to fossil Island to start doing birdhouse runs for cash so.

What I wish I knew was that some of the grinds I did on f2p, like getting the skull scepter from stronghold, would have been a lot more profitable with the extra drops you get on members.

When I started out on membership, I wish I would’ve realized how much more fun I would’ve had if I just paid the monthly subscription. I grinded for months to get my first bond (this was back when it was only around 5m for a bond) and burnt out after finally obtaining one through f2p bc I couldn’t make enough money in the 14 days to get another. Now I’m running toa every day and moving up in invocations, and I’m having a blast paying that 12$ a month lol. Rsn-gleblort

one thing I wish someone would have told me is keep about 20m or so of gold just in case for supplies and the like before going into members and about 10-15m before your members runs out just so you can have some capital if want to bounce right back in.

I’d also add in that getting used to dying is part of the game. Because grinding to get items takes time and you no longer run the risk of losing everything so easily.

I’d say the hardest thing for new players is making money, and learning locations.

Wish I knew how to grind on my ironman and get good gear.

I do want to say that pest control is underrated even for the lower levels. I've seen plenty of boats that are still viable because some higher levels are there to help their alts.

i wish i had trained my skills a bit more before getting saving up for my first bond, i had base 50 combats with 43 prayer and 70 range but a lot of level 1 skills. it made getting into skilling feel very slow/boring.

i wish i knew that the grind for completing all the quests requirements is huge and even worse making my main account full 99 is almost a dream at the moment im kinda new to the osrs terms, what does RSN mean? and is it safe to put your username online?

I wish I would have used others' houses on World 330 earlier! It's so helpful to have access to all the teleports at once, especially the lunar spell book for places like Relleka using Lunar island and Canifis using the ancient or Arceuus spellbook. It's also so nice to have a little refuel every time I teleport or fairy ring somewhere new! RSN: TheInklings
