I like the cracks for character too, however make sure to fill the cracks with a clear urethane given that it's an exterior door. If water and moisture gets in then freezes, it will further exacerbate the existing cracks. 😊😊😊

When you said you were going to "attempt" to clean the brass pedals on the piano, I was like, "Why attempt? Are they too stained?" But then the puppy came in, and I understood 🤣

Oh Kevin! I've used spar urethane on my mahogany door. Not the easiest product to use, especially on a hot day. Sun exposure on those doors are a killer. After 20 years we finally painted our door with a high quality acrylic paint. Works MUCH better. Great video!

I enjoyed watching your preparations, the new coat of varnish made the doors look beautiful! Lastly, tea time in the garden was perfect with the autumn leaves falling in the background, the sweet pup peeping up with his nose over the edge of the table, and the delicious apple galette. Bliss!

Enjoy the lovely weather, which we are also enjoying here in VA. Supposed to hold for another few weeks. My only complaint is no rain, which has been absent here for three weeks. Violas and pansies are planted now and last through the entire winter into spring, when only the heat does them in. So, rain would be very welcome.
