Damn, everyone seems to like Barioth meanwhile I absolutely abhor both normal and Frostfang
ОтветитьFrost fang is either going to make me question iceborne’s existence or be just as fun as normal barioth (the main deciding thing is the sticky ice)
ОтветитьBarrioth is by far the most annoying piece of shid mh has ever had.
ОтветитьHe doesn't have tornados yay!
Few minutes into the video later: ohh sh********************t
I have played mhw for nearly 2000 hours, played MH4/U, as well as MHGU, I can destroy just about every monster single handedly .
Why is this thing giving me a tough time.
hate fighting regular barioth. As a bow user I have a hard time dodging his moves cuz he's so fast. Hoping frostfang isn't quite so annoyingly strong but I'm legit scared to try.
ОтветитьI honestly had Frostfang only switch three times zones. From his Nest to the Cave. From there to the Zone with the Hotsprings and then to its Nest where I captured it :3
ОтветитьTorch pods works?
Where do I get torch pods in the map?
I adore everything about this monster, its attacks are threatening, but learnable, it isn't a long fight per say as he is still just barioth with mid tier health pool, but its packed with intensity. The reason why he feels easier to catch up to partly has to do with his starting zone as well, the various changes they've made to this monster, from major ones to tiny ones, makes him more enjoyable without losing too much of normal barioth.
ОтветитьI definately agree, while frostfang is more dangerous than regular barioth, it's a lot less frusterating. I hate fighting barioth, but I enjoyed this one.
ОтветитьNever thought of using iceproof mantle for the icy breath. I'll have to try that.
ОтветитьOther than the ice goop the fight wasn't awful at all, a couple moves hit like a truck but I figure he'd of gone down quicker if I actually brought a fire weapon lol.
ОтветитьY'all keep saying that FF Barioth weapons have great raw, but in each case it is perfect middle tier raw. its equal to safi weapons starting raw. That sharpness bar tho.
ОтветитьSorry, this will be a long one - warning in advance.
I am happy they added this beast to the roster - had a fun time fighting him. Of the 3 basic Pseudo-Wyverns, I do think Barioth is the most unique of the bunch and find his fight interesting, even if I enjoy Nargacuga a bit more - granted, only ever fought Tigrex before World (4U was my first and only real previous game). He looks pretty darn good and his moveset got enough of a moveset that I feel he is a great change to an existing beast - unlike something like Shrieking Legiana, which seems like a minor upgrade.
I will say that for him being a... variant? I always forget if it is that or "deviant". Anyways, do feel he is rather, well, easy for what he is. Granted, if this was a normal Frostfang, I would have no complaints, but he IS tempered. Furious Rajang managed to cart me once on my first hunt against him, and a tempered Savage Deviljho can still cart me if I am not careful. Yes, I have farmed a LOT in this game and build sets to take on specific beasts, yet all I really had for this fight was Ice Resistance maxed out and fully upgraded armor (a mix of Velkhana and Kushala); my normal set is too weak to ice to use here, and THAT thing is built to make dying near impossible. So yeah, fighting a new twist to an existing beast which had powerful moves and new attacks...only got me near death twice in all the 5 hunts I have taken him down in.
That being said, he is a great addition to the game, with some great looking weapons (including a new great Palico Ice weapon) and armor. Honestly, kind of shocked that the armor from a mid-tier variant seems more useful than that of a Black Dragon though.
And one last little odd thing that bugs me, not about him but some of the DLC in general, does anyone else wish that instead of getting a brand new weapon path on the upgrade tree that we could just upgrade the old weapons we had? Like how Rathalos weapons go from Normal to Azure to Silver to reach max power. Did love the look of the old Barioth longsword, and wish it got an upgrade into this gorgeous new thing, instead of gathering dust in my item box.
I feel like we should get some hunts with Cotton's view instead of Josh's.
ОтветитьYpu forgot to mention the Odo wall cling & the Nightshade ice cloud. You did know about those, did you?
ОтветитьI fought frostfang a couple of times and I haven't fought it outside the cave yet
ОтветитьIs there an upgrade to the Punishing Draw LS build?
ОтветитьJust point out banbaro does not damage barioth, best lure legiana or ebony odogaron to have turf war with barioth as they do damage.
ОтветитьMy Slugger Secret, Stamina Thief Secret, Paralysis Hammer build will enjoy this very much.
ОтветитьBut theres no tornado..thats no fun..and i think dev could do better if he have new attack design instead of copy paste from the basic barioth, fmi.
ОтветитьI totally I agree he might not be extremely difficult but he is a lot of fun to hunt and I definitely gonna make his beta and alpha armor and a lot of his weapons plus farming some extra tickets to make its layered armor in the future 😄
ОтветитьDon't forget that his telegraphs have very sound heavy indicators, you might only hear them slightly but I can tell you exactly what moves he's doing from just sound.
Ответить@RageGamingVideos hey are you going to do a new updated immortal defense build? you said you would update it since there were a few newer pieces of armor out thats more of an upgrade
ОтветитьHow could you possibly make a monster be considered difficult after Alatreon? Give the monster an annoying sticky breath attack and garbage hit zones or whatever the term is called.
ОтветитьI am meh on normal barioths fight, but frostfang barioth is a great fight.
ОтветитьBanbaro's turf war with Barioth does not do damage to him. Barioth just straight up beats Banbaro. It's not a tie.
Ответитьthis guy was a kick in the nuts of Lance counters that just wait 24/7 in counter mode (me)
ОтветитьThe commander is growing more and more exhasperated with Cotton and I'm all here for it. He'll probably straightup kick them out of Astera when the new game comes out
Ответить@RageGamingVideos Why does your description talk about Alatreon?
ОтветитьThe feverish dance matches damn near perfect with baby be mine from MJ
ОтветитьI'm curious how your Iceproof mantle+ is doing that. Mine doesn't do anything in the sticky ice, I'm still cc'd the whole time. What am I missing?
ОтветитьStill waiting for Cotton's updated Iai slash build.
ОтветитьHmm. Ngl. After fighting him, hes great but....i wanted him to also do more with the Snownados
Ответитьi fought it and it was much more fun than regular barioth imo, the only annoying thing was the ice patch but it wasn't that big of an issue for me. Ive yet to redo any of my builds with punishing draw but i can't wait to mess around with it.
and im just gonna throw this here again.....i can't wait to see what they do with Narga since i believe its the next and last returning monster to have a either returning form or new form altogether... if they don't do one i'll be a bit surprised honestly.
Minecraft build battle pleas?
ОтветитьMan, I love fighting him... when he doesn't RNG the AI that always spams the double pounce right out of an ice hardstun.
And when his area doesn't shit on my FPS because laptop, lmao.
You forgot ebony odogaron
ОтветитьCan't wait to get back home to fight him next week
ОтветитьWhat is kiara
ОтветитьRead the description.
ОтветитьHe's really just a more enjoyable Barioth. That being said, compared to Alatreon, he's as easy as writing this comment.
ОтветитьIt’s nice to have a fight I can enjoy as someone who was late to the party. I still need to reach MR100, and I’ll enjoy grinding out the fight to get his badass armor
ОтветитьEven though I destroyed him in about 5 minutes first go round I find him to be a very fun fight that will cart you if you don't stay on your toes. Also he is a blast in multiplayer too.
ОтветитьUmm...was that just a mini conspiracy theory at the beginning? I'm surprised that wasn't it's own video!
ОтветитьWill his weapons help for Alatreon then? Still need to beat the special assignment
ОтветитьI think they should've given it the true variant treatment. It should have been released as a special assignment or optional quest as a non-tempered monster, with exactly the same stats as it has now. This would allow you to fight an even stronger version which would now be the tempered version, which would be seen in 'the last white knight'. The weapons would be 2 stage upgrades, with the first stage using normal parts of his and the second using rarer materials and the tickets you get from the event quest. This would allow slightly lower level players to encounter and fight him, while still being able to pose a challenge the stronger players using endgame equipment. As it is right now, it was released too late into the game's lifespan for it to pose a challenge to the majority of players, but I don't feel like it would have taken too much work to change that.
