Personally, the slop content for me is nice thing to have. Sometimes, you don't want to watch a highly edited video like a video essay or a review. Sometimes you just wanna turn off your brain and have something running the background. I feel its more enjoyable then just doomscrolling on another platform or smth

My theory is that all the slop content was solely to fund the inflated cost of licensing The Man Who Sold The Chins, and now that's fully funded Pyro has decided to deflate the slop

I dont really like the video he's watched. The few times Pyro has messed up is such a small percentage compared to the high amount of research he does for the majority of his videos. A lot of the arguments made can easily be debunked/counterargued. It just seems like he's attacking for the sake of attacking/personal feelings. These videos are good, and personally, they help me keep up to date on whats happneing on the internet

If people dont like the side channels, just stop watching it?

I'm getting the sense that this guy "knows" that pyro has employees and is ultimately a brand/company at this point but doesn't actually understand it. Like I feel like they genuinely think that Pyro is still doing all of the content himself with little to no overhead.

Being genuine here, Pyro has set a very high bar for his main channel ever since the yellow killing show video, constantly trying you maintain that level of content is impossible especially if its that long too, main channel had "slop" too and that was okay, by setting such a high standard he's split his content too much, lowering the budget of main channel videos and editing the slop channel gaming videos more - uploading them onto main, would make more profit from what I'm seeing. occasionally creating his passion projects instead of those being the only ones he uploads onto there would go great. If he wants an "archive" he can just create a playlist

8 year viewer here I completely agree with this guy but he's just screaming into void. You're doing good keep up the good work!

I get that he doesn't wanna downsize his team but in doing so he might be locking himself into the slop channel. The team grew to that size and workload to cope with the daily uploads, if you're downsizing the amount of content and frequency, you can't keep paying the same amount of money out. So with that set-up, of course the change to the channel wont last. You can't change the core aspect of the channel long term without making other changes. Use your connections to help find some of the team other work or something ig.
